Black Bear Inn

We had a horrible experience here. Our order was messed up, had extremely high wait time and our bill was inaccurate. We were wrongly charged for multiple items. When we addressed concerns with server, she brought them to the manager’s (Kaylee) attention. The manager presented us with an updated bill that was $30 MORE than the original, inaccurate bill. The manager was rude, unwilling to make things right and refused to call the owner at our request. We have reached out to owner and will not be going back and suggest others stay away, too.

Excellent place a few drinks in general and for Halloween, they decorate to the 9's!!!
On Halloween they had a DJ, and constume contest, with 75$ gift cards for winners, very generous of them.
Good, strong cheap drinks, a pool table and darts.
Can be rented for private parties also.
We love this local place!!!

Great better than dive bar. Casual, well decorated, friendly, excellent service. This is a place you might drive by and never try but I highly recommend giving it a chance...its clean and non intimidating and the staff seem very happy and enjoy their jobs.

Great experience compared to my last. Excellent fried mushrooms and burgers! And such a great happy hour probably the best I’ve ever seen! Kayley did a great job bartending, cooking and waiting on tables!

Waitress was wonderful 👍 fish fry was a disappointment. Three tiny pieces of fish. Large side dishes( hash browns and baked potato, both very good). Adult beverages didn't taste like there was any alcohol in them. Just *** stars. ( for the waitress).

Stopped in for an old-fashioned using our passport book. I had the nachos. Matt had a burger. Our friends had buffalo chicken strips. Yummy

The “We Respect Everyone” flag inside doesn’t reflect the experience we had. Hopefully things improve, but we won’t be back.

Nice everyday bar/grill. From out of town, and was a good meal/music type night.

I Visited Black Bear Inn 05/29/25
First off it was freezing cold in the building
The wait staff was the only pleasant part of the visit she did an awesome job I ordered a club sandwich with my friend ordered the chicken parm with sweet potato fries That order was good he said My club sandwich the toast was overdone the food took almost 40 minutes I found that to ridiculous the place wasn't even that busy I won't never come back

I'll be honest, it wasn't a perfect experience, but our bartender recognized there was an issue and brought it to her manager without us even saying anything. The manager apologized and reconciled the issue without hesitation. And when the food came, it was great! I look forward to giving it another chance!
