This was my first experience here with two friends. Another who goes here regularly. We sat at the bar for a drink and some food.
The "new bartender" made me feel completely stupid, when he interrupted our conversation and told me that I could not use a word that I did, during dinner time. We were given one bill for our food and one for our drinks. Between the three of us, we had 3 drinks and 3 shots. And our bar bill was over $60. We left and went elsewhere.
Over that same weekend, we heard 3 negative comments from people at other bars about the "new bartender" at the Hilltop.
I was hoping to contact the owner of the Hilltop about this privately, but couldn't find an email address to do so.
Coming from one business owner to another, I would suggest looking into this, to determine if he is hurting your business. As you have a very nice place!
I will certainly not be back, if he is behind the bar. And my friend who comes here regularly with her family and friends, said the same.

busy even on a Monday at 515. Weird system. Went into the dining room ( where there were open tables) and were told to order at the bar. Couldn't get a bartender, found a menu, decided what we wanted and pushed our way to the bartender who asked if we had a number. Once we got a number, waited another 20 minutes for a hostess to take the order. Once we got in the dining room the salad bar was great. Food was good but I'm probably not returning because it's alot of.hassle. the pizza looked good. Might order that for take out.

We were there for dinner and we’re very pleased with our meals, fantastic salad bar, next time I go I’m going to the soup and salad bar, great variety of items, including the chicken gizzards, yummy!!

So we come here often and absolutely love their pizza and dinner with salad bar. Very disappointed when we came for Fathers Day Buffet. We were met at the door at 6:15 and were told we are closing. What? The sign says serving until 7. Doesn’t say reservations needed. Ordinarily they don’t take reservations. But because no one had reservations after a certain time they were choosing to close. Kinda ticked me off.
Went on June 17th to celebrate our anniversary, it was our first time but definitely will not be our last. The prime rib was juicy, flavorful and melted in our mouths. The salad bar offered a good variety of salad fixings and pastas along with soup and gizzard. Our service was top notch. There were 3 servers working that night and all 3 hit every table multiple times to ensure everyone was taken care of and wanted for nothing. I know we always here about the young people being lazy but these 3 were not. Smiles and great customer service is rare these days but not here. They were constantly making sure the salad bar was fully stocked so no one would go without anything, even making sure the breadsticks were warm. Give them a try, I know we will be back.

Waited for over an hour for our order to be taken. Several groups who cam after us had orders taken and all were seated before us. Extremely disappointed in this visit. Two stars only because the salad bar is good!
