I'm not sure how this place is even in business still or how they tricked people to give them an averaged 4.0 star rating.
There was no favor at all in the food. Everything tasted bland and was clearly left over from the previous day or even days. I requested some hot sauce, trying to add any sort of flavor to my dish, but was given a thick mayonnaise-like substance repackaged in a small plastic container. Needless to say, I passed on this mystery substance. The atmosphere was very basic and boring and hardly passed as a "Mexican restaurant".
If you are looking for Mexican food, this is not the place to go.
Instead, please drive you and your family to the nearest Taco Bell or even grab yourself a gas station burrito. Both options will be 100% better and offer taco sauce packets for your convenance.
If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would have.
If you ever find yourself by EL Norteno, please do yourself a favor and keep driving, leaving them in your rearview mirror forever.

There was certainly nothing special about this place. It's a Mexican place, but they did not bring chips or salsa. The Taco Salad was horrible. It was more like a taco soup, there was so much liquid in it. And what is very weird are thr condoms at the front counter!!

Had a Christmas party there and the bartender wouldn't acknowledge me until I said "excuse me can I order something". I was later told that the entire bar staff was new and had never been behind a bar before, which would explain a lot. The food was very good.

Only commenting on why stupid hours. Open only 5 hours a day? Closed on Tuesday?
Not impressed. Took about 20 minutes to get drinks, the waitress didn’t seem to want to be there. The bacon burger was overcooked, had too many veggies and not enough meat. Didn’t really check on us asking if everything was alright. Will never eat here again. The Chimi and enchiladas were the best dishes. Also the cheese curds are $7 and motz sticks are $8 and you only get like 6 little fish stick sized motz sticks. And a baby handful of cheese curds.
Recommended dishes: Enchiladas Casa Blanca
Honestly, I disagree with the way things are ran in this establishment.

Maybe the bad reviews were for the old restaurant or some other entrees but the food was good and the service was nice. Got just tacos
