In the area today & tomorrow for a funeral & family reunion. Stopped to have a WI fish fry. Was sadly disappointed. Had the cod deep fried. It was rubbery to the point that we couldn’t chew it. Hash browns were good & potato pancakes were ok. Cole slaw was good. Mentioned it to the waitress about the fish but she didn’t seem to have an answer.

Love the people, atmosphere and food! Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit (beware, it may just become a regular hangout! )

We were in the area and wanted to find a local dish fry on the way. We found Time Flies and we’re NOT disappointed.The atmosphere is local bar and grille type. The decor was a whole lot of clocks on the walls and anywhere else they could put them, lots to look at.Seating was good and tables not too close together.We had the fish fry that also comes with the salad bar. There’s also a Friday night seafood bar. The service and staff so friendly and welcoming. Overall, the food tasted fresh and homemade.The fish was not a heavy batter, which is always a plus. The applesauce was homemade. Amazing!! And the potato pancakes were a risky choice but these were the BEST potato pancakes we’ve ever had. Ever!! So fresh, moist, yet crispy around the edges. Just a slight onion flavor - just perfect. And to top it off - REAL maple syrup, not the corn syrup based.The staff knew we weren’t from the area and shared some of the local upcoming events with us. We were there early in the evening before the big crowd, so were happy to get all that time with them.This place is definitely worth the stop. Other menu items looked good too and reasonably priced. We hope to be back when we are in the area again.

Went for Taco Tuesday. Margaritas were great! Enchiladas were yummy. Burritos and Chimis looked good too! Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great time!
