We dined at Erbert and Gerberts in De Pere and the food and service was wonderful. Bobby appeared to be the only worker, taking orders and making sandwiches and keeping production fast all while being friendly. She helped my son figure out the perfect sandwich for him and was patient and sweet as well as answered any of our questions. GREAT JOB!

Their deli sandwiches might be good. Their bread was amazing. Their cheesesteaks are AWFUL though. I thought it would be like a Jersey Mike's. They do cold cuts and warm sandwiches and use REAL meat in both. Not the case. Erbs and Gerbs uses the already cooked, processed and packaged meat that is then frozen and shipped. They then take it out and reheat. Yum. Not. If I want TV dinner meat, I will buy a TV dinner for $3. This is supposed to be a Wisconsin institution and they are just using the fake reheats like Subway meats......and charging Jersey Mike prices.....gross! Now their deli meats might be good quality like Jimmy Johns. Nice thick medium rare roast beef like JJs has. I don't know. But based on the slop they dare to call a cheesesteak and charge $13 for it, I am not holding my breath.

Here is my $12.00 Goliath. Cheese steak sandwich with all the fixings. It wasn't until the last bite that I realized that there was cheese in it. The flavor wasn't bad, but it was very minimalistic. Pretty unacceptable to me! I am still very hungry.

Ordered the Goliath, Was told it has extra steak on it. I would hate to see what a normal steak and cheese has on it. Very small portions. Would not recommend.

Vegetarian options: They have a meatless sub and the wild rice soup is good. The meatless sub is the Jacob Bluefinger. It's a good sandwich.

Good subs/food. Prices continue to increase ($25 for a couple of subs and drinks), which decreases value. Good/friendly staff/service.

Our new favorite location for E & G. Excellent bread, clean, and great service. Met GM Josh, super kind, and represents his store well.

Love this place
A great sandwich and fast
ordered online from De Pere location, and received online confirmation. My card was then charged $55.75. A while thereafter, I received a text saying "track your order here". I watched while two separate drivers consecutively waited for my order and left. Finally, after an hour, my order was cancelled. I called the store and they said, "We don't have your order." So. Drivers showed up to pick up an order they didn't have, and they claimed they couldn't refund me for an order they didn't have. But they COULD charge my card for an order they didn't have. They just couldn't refund me. I asked for a manager and was told they didn't have one. My daughter later called for a store number, and was told they didn't "know it". How do you not know your own franchise number? Thank goodness my bank opened an investigation claim and refunded me for this fraudulent charge, since the staff clearly didn't know the operations of their store enough to fix their mistake.
