Always a great experience.
Had a cup of Chilli and split a Cuban Sandwich. Both good. Came out fast. Restaurant wasn't too busy. Neat architecture and history in there!
Seating was a little cozy near the front door, otherwise an excellent dining experience.
The food was cold. I don't know if the place was understaffed or if our server was just inattentive but it appeared a kitchen staffer was the one who ended up bringing us our food and probably because it had been sitting out a long time. By the time we got it, it was barely warm. The haddock also seemed to be overcooked. The breading was much darker than the perch and the fish was dry. I imagine it all would have been very good if it was hot and not overcooked. We also waited a very long time for our server to come back and get us our bill and to-go boxes.
The only reason this place is missing a star and a 1 star on the atmosphere is because we had gotten there right when it opened so there wasnt anyone else there to judge it. The server was very nice and the food was also tasty would love to give this place another try on a Friday night just too see the crowd. They have alot of room and a upstairs in order to accommodate a large crowd without feeling jammed in so I'd like to come here again
Ambiance, atmosphere, are fantastic! Can't say enough good about it. Please don't pass this place up if you've never been.
The fish fry is definitely more like the Wisconsin traditional than at some other places I've been lately. They close the kitchen absurdly early, 8:30, and most of their clientelle is geriatric. Despite its close proximity to SNC, this anything but a college bar, which I was told they shut down by 9:00 PM on most Fridays.
The Euro head was super salty server could have carried less cause.I was just 1 person they were busy but no attention. To detail was left for a while without any beverage or being asked if I wanted to bring you sat in the back by myself.Because there was nothing fron

Had a beer while my wife was in Improv class at Comedy City. What a quaint place. Very welcoming. Will come back for food.

Nicky's is one part funky, one part old school tavern, and one part good eats. This spot features something you won't often find in Northeast Wisconsin: unique flavors. I especially like their gumbo, though it's not for the faint of heart. It has some kick!

tonight was a disaster. 1:45 wait for food and then food was cold. A few other groups left without getting their food. Brought friends in from out of town. Staff was set up to fail and I was embarrassed that I had brought my friends there. Some staff was probably feeling the same. Better off closing the kitchen when things went south but management didn’t seem to be anywhere to be found.
Poor service. Waited one and a half hours for fryer food. Way overpriced. Save your money and go else where.
The atmosphere is the winner here. The food not so much. We had the fish fry and would not recommend the Cod as it was fish stick quality. The Perch was ok, but not worth the $$.
Parking: Street parking and a multi use parking are behind.
Kid-friendliness: No kid menu, but they have burger, chicken tenders
Wheelchair accessibility: Zero entry

The BEST cheese curds I’ve ever had…. And I’m from Wisconsin I’m a huge cheese head and these were the best!!!! The bloodys were good too! I’d come back. But the only thing I didn’t like was the flies around the restaurant… they kept bothering us. The service we got was very friendly!
