My coworker and I make it a point to try a new international restaurant every month, and I’m so glad Sofreh was our pick this time. It probably wouldn’t have been on my radar otherwise, but I’m thrilled we found it. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding! We both had the chicken kabobs, which were fantastic, but the hummus was the real standout—honestly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend giving this place a try next time you’re looking for somewhere new to dine!

Excellent Persian food in a low-key setting in downtown De Pere. Nothing fancy, but the food is delicious and nicely presented. We had the hummus appetizer, which is heavy on the cilantro for a light green hue. The taste was delicious, if slightly sweeter than a normal Lebanese hummus. I ordered the full plate of beef kabobs, which came with rice, a small salad and a small bowl of yogurt and cucumber, which was nicely spiced. The kabobs were great—juicy kofta with enough spice to distinguish them from burgers. One of my kids had the cheese panini with a strawberry salad, which disappeared quickly and looked like something grandma would make. We will definitely return to try the chicken and soups. They also have bobas if that’s your thing, as well as a decent coffee menu. Definitely worth a stop!

Sofreh Eatery is an absolute gem in the Green Bay area! I had the Kabob Combo, and it was beyond delicious — the beef and chicken were perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of authentic Persian flavor. The rice and sides tied everything together beautifully. I also had a motcha latte that was rich and smooth — honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The owner, Mr. Hadi, and his daughter were both there, and their kindness and professionalism made the experience unforgettable. They truly care about their customers, greeting everyone warmly and ensuring every detail is perfect. You can feel the love and pride that goes into both their food and their service.
If you’re anywhere near Green Bay or De Pere, you owe it to yourself to stop by Sofreh Eatery. Incredible food, amazing people, and outstanding hospitality — this place deserves to be packed every night!
