We hired Runaway Spoon for our wedding this past December, and I couldn't count how many times I heard "this is the best food I have ever had at a wedding". Before even talking about the wedding, I need to talk about our tasting experience. I reached out and asked if I could bring my dad along with my husband and Lindsay and Tim were happy to accommodate. The tasting was located where their kitchen is, and it was such a great experience. Both Lindsay and Tim are such wonderful people, passionate about what they do! Not only that, but they make some great food. I had quite a few last minute changes in order to accommodate a few guests and food restrictions they had. Runaway Spoon did not bat an eye and made sure that every guest was well taken care of! I am so glad we hired them!

We recently had them cater a lunch for our office and it was AMAZING!! They were able to accommodate our group of about 30 people with sandwiches, a large salad, chips and mini desserts on somewhat short notice. Everything was quality fresh ingredients. You could tell they did NOT cut corners and the presentation was a notch above your standard sandwich platter. I would highly recommend and will be ordering from them again!

YUM! YUM! YUM! Best catering I have ever had! Lindsey is great to work with and their staff were so nice and helpful for our small wedding dinner. We had the chicken and salmon plated dinners and it was SOOO good ?. And the MASHED POTATOES! You have to try the potatoes! Seriously, get the potatoes ?. They made everything on location so it was super fresh and they were great about working with allergies too. Very highly recommend!

How do i begin to say thank you Runaway Spoon.... the food for our daughters wedding was more than expected!!! Don't think I've seen so many clean plates at a wedding ever!! Everything from the Cornish Hens, the steaks to the veggie strudel....all were amazingly delicious. As were the appetizers and the late night Mac n Cheese bar!! Can we talk desserts....mini pies, berry tarts, mini cheese cakes, chocolate cakes, amaretto raspberry cake!! Absolutely amazing. Everything was beyond our expectations!! The presentation of all items, stunning! Service was flawless!We had compliments from everyone on every food item. I just cannot thank Tim and Lindsay enough, you made the girls wedding extremely special, especially the fact you made the Cornish Hens they requested!! Job so well done Tim and Lindsay!! Thank you, thank you!!!

This husband-wife team is fabulous! The food was fantastic and the desserts flew off the table! My only regret from my wedding is that we didn't order enough cake! They grilled the tenderloin for our wedding on site and our risotto was almost completely gone at the end of the dinner! The strawberry champagne cake was on point, and renting linens and dishes from them made our wedding incredibly simple. All of our guests raved (and are still raving) about the food at our wedding!

Lindsay and Tim catered our daughters wedding in Egg Harbor two weeks ago and did an absolutely fabulous presentation of amazing and delicious foods! Their “Spooners†catering staff walked around with hors d'oeuvres, weaving their way through our guests to make sure that no one was with out food. Our buffet foods were fresh and healthy and beautifully displayed! Lindsay is a very talented pastry chef as well and the desserts they made were crazy delicious! Our guests raved about the food all night long and days after! Lindsay and Tim are extremely helpful and easy to work with. They understand how important beautiful and fresh food is for any gathering and their love and passion for what they do is contagious! We'd give them a 10 star rating if that was available!
