This post is long overdue but because we still have family and friends asking us years later “who we catered from for our wedding?”, I needed to leave this review!
My wife and I got married at The Ledgecrest Reserve (Green Bay) in October 2022 and although that day was about us, we wanted each of our guests to have a very personal and intimate experience on our big day. We absolutely love trying new restaurants/food so one area that would allow us to create a unique experience for our guests was with the selection of hors d'oeuvres and plated meal options for our guests.
Chefs Tim and Lindsay took our vision and absolutely blew us away. From start to finish, they were unbelievable professionals, answering our questions and making recommendations where they could. With their farm-to-table approach that focused on quality, freshness, and local ingredients, we let their expertise take over and were extremely happy with how everything turned out. I’ve listed at the end of this review what my wife and I selected for our guests.
If I could give Chef Tim, Chef Lindsay, and The Runaway Spoon team more stars, I absolutely would. They were a blast to work with and I absolutely recommend The Runaway Spoon if the details of this review resonate with you. You will not be disappointed!

We hired Runaway Spoon for our wedding at LedgeCrest Reserve and they hit it out of the park! We received so many compliments about the food, many people saying it’s the best food they have ever had (not just at a wedding)! It added such an elevated experience for our guests which is exactly what we were looking for. Lindsey was amazing to work with from the very beginning of menu planning, building out a huge grazing table for guests during cocktail hour and helped to answer all of our questions in between. I would 100/10 recommend Runaway Spoon to any one looking high quality food that tastes delicious and supports this incredible small business!

Before even talking about the wedding, I need to talk about our tasting experience. I reached out and asked if I could bring my dad along with my husband and Lindsay and Tim were happy to accommodate. The tasting was located where their kitchen is, and it was such a great experience. Both Lindsay and Tim are such wonderful people, passionate about what they do! Not only that, but they make some great food. I had quite a few last minute changes in order to accommodate a few guests and food restrictions they had. Runaway Spoon did not bat an eye and made sure that every guest was well taken care of! I am so glad we hired them!

We recently had them cater a lunch for our office and it was AMAZING!! They were able to accommodate our group of about 30 people with sandwiches, a large salad, chips and mini desserts on somewhat short notice. Everything was quality fresh ingredients. You could tell they did NOT cut corners and the presentation was a notch above your standard sandwich platter. I would highly recommend and will be ordering from them again!

We had the chicken and salmon plated dinners and it was SOOO good ?. And the MASHED POTATOES! You have to try the potatoes! Seriously, get the potatoes ?. They made everything on location so it was super fresh and they were great about working with allergies too. Very highly recommend!
