For the price point - Republic smokes Wissota in terms of quality, what you get for your buck and ambiance. We have been to the location in Appleton - went to this location because we couldn't get into Republic and they had tables. It is located in a Cobblestone Suites - kind of random - and the restaurant itself was nice. The cost was more than Republic which is our favorite steakhouse in the world - and they didn't have a lot of gluten free options - like no dessert option. Our server was great - we could tell they were a bit understaffed but she still did a great job. Wedge salad was good. Burger was good but the overwhelming taste of bleu cheese - I probably would get it plain next time. Filet was good not great. Same with charcuterie board.

Another great night at Wissota. The filet was tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked. The wedge salad was huge and fresh, great accompaniment. My friend had the pasta with prawns which she loved. Drinks were great, service impeccable. Looking forward to my next visit!

super delicious. there aren't many places with quality dessert items on the menu around. this place has them as well as some fabulous dinner entrees. the sides for two are kind of a weird thing, but I guess they think nobody goes out to eat unless they are on a date.. it's priced fairly for a nice hotel restaurant.

The food was absolutely Fabulous! My girlfriend and I ate the Buffalo Fried Alligator which was a fun and delectable treat while we waited for our entree. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were to die for! I couldn't get enough of the brussel sprouts. We will be returning here for future dinning! We loved having the place to ourselves while we were here! Thank you Chophouse staff for such a WONDERFUL Experience.

This place is a hidden gem in DePere! I’m fortunate enough to have stumbled onto Wissota Chophouse since I’m staying at the Cobblestone Inn in DePere. Not only have I had what may be the best meal I’ve ever had, but the cocktails are top notch as well! If you happen to stop in and Kayla is behind the bar, ask for the Peachy Boots! Kayla may be the sweetest person you’ll ever encounter and she makes a great cocktail!! They had a crab-stuffed mushroom appetizer that was served on a creamed asparagus…it was simply amazing!! Thanks to Autumn and her kitchen crew. They aren’t open on Sundays or Mondays, but any other day run, don’t walk and have a dining/drinking experience that you won’t forget anytime soon!

I came to De Pere for my daughter's gymnastics meet and headed to Wissota with the other parents... Bonnie was our server and was awesome! She went above and beyond for us! HIGHLY recommend!!

We went here without ever hearing of it before. We loved it! It was for a special birthday occasion, and we were very pleased. Our server was very attentive, and informative. Food was delicious. Prices are a little spendy for this area, but the shareable sides were plenty for us. The chocolate cake we shared for dessert was one of the best things I ever tasted. Plentiful enough that we took some home.

The Food was overall excellent with one exception. I had the Pepper encrusted Ribeye and it presented very nice. It had a great texture and shape. However, it had a distinct "watery" flavor that indicated it was either frozen just before cooking or perhaps was close to frozen and not given enough time to rest to room temperature before cooking. Other then that the rest of the food was very well prepared. Although being a steak house, the steak should be the hero.
