Ordered a breakfast sandwich: the english muffin was burnt, the cheese was forgotten. When it was sent back I received an untosted English muffin, my over easy egg(most likely the first one) was hard & crunchy. My guest had ordered a breakfast sandwich also, which as much of a disaster as mine. The pecan roll was delicious along with our coffee. We remember when this restaurant was hard to even get a table. I will be coming through again in a few weeks & will see if things have improved.

Used to go to the pine cone all the time... Used to be very good food and very decent prices... Went there yesterday because it was a very good place to eat... The new owners that took over ..the prices are way too high for breakfast it cost me over $45 for 2 and the food was not that great..won't be stopping there ever again..

Sever and atmosphere were good to very good. Food was not what I had last time I was here. Last time I was here(five months sgo or so) food was excellent. This time the scrambled eggs were over cooked and served more like a sad omelet then scrambled eggs. Cornbread has was good but needed salt(my fault for forgetting). Biggest problem was asked for toast with extra butter and 2/3rds of the toast was bone dry. Here is am opportunity to see their customer service. I will revisit and update the review if I ever hear back from them.

Went with my sister for dinner, the dinner rolls were great as always. My sister liked the baked ham and cheese, my onion rings were disgusting looking and were oily and nasty. The waitress, Brittany, was a great waitress, but they really need to get rid of the cook that was making her mad. I gave the waitress a 20 for a tip, she was struggling with the rudeness of the cook.

Huge breakfast. Im sooo full. The bathrooms are clean. There's a good amount of truck parking. They've got that friendly service like at the cafes up north, and those pasteries are the size of your face. Skip the TA.

Old school diner just off the highway. Home fries just tasted of vegetable oil, and I'd avoid the "breakfast ham" to save your life.

Found it interesting that they mixed white and dark meat, gave it a homecooked feeling the roll was fresh and soft, Dutch pie was

I ordered a steak medium well, they brought me a super well done and hard steak. Waitress was sweet and exchanged it but the next one was equally bad. Coffee tastes like wood, had expired coffee creamers. All three of our food had no flavor. We paid for our meals and gave waitress generous tip because she was amazing. I later found owner on our way out and told him of my experience and he was highly rude and cut me off talking about his experience in buying meat and how medium well means well done. I’ve often visited this restaurant but the food has declined tremendously, that now it’s a thing of the past. I will not be coming back. I’m leaving photo of my plate. No one should go into restaurant hungry and leave hungry while hearing a owner pointlessly talking about himself.
