Nothing at all

They are permanently closed, because the owners ran it into the ground. They want to blame politicians, but they are wrong

Our family of 11 were accommodated on a very busy Sunday. Breakfast was very good. Service excellent only problem 8 was maximum seating for our group.

Today 8/28/21 the afternoon crew made a HUGE DIFFERENCE compared with morning crew. The lady who took care of our table, with feathers tattoo on the arm, was super extra polite. And a guy was very friendly with my kids. What an amazing crew

Rudest staff we have ever encountered. If you are under the age of 60 or a not a trucker expect to get hostile wait staff. Sign says seat yourself- waitress rudely tells me to get up from table until my whole party was there. My husband and child were at the bakery counter looking at goods. I tell her this she says we need to be seated together. I tell her the sign says seat yourself- she huffily turns it around and says "well I was going to turn it." Ok, got it. You don't want our business. I go to front and sit at counter with family. Half the people walking in don't have masks but the waitress says our son eating a sandwich from the store is "ignorant of the pandemic." Mind you she just happily waited on 2 elderly individuals who walked in with no masks at all. Give me a break. Very obvious they don't care about the business.

Took a little bit to get menus but the wait staff was incredibly friendly. The tuna melt that I got was absolutely amazing. I didn't realize it came with tomato on it but I promise you even if you aren't big on tomatoes, you'll love the tuna melt with or without it. My meal alone(the closer sandwich pictured) was a total of $10.42 and I ended up having leftovers to take home too. It's a very nice and quiet environment. I'd describe it as a family restaurant but I wouldn't suggest bringing young children with if you visit.

Really friendly and attentive waitresses. Excellent donuts and pastries to-go. Unfortunately the food is always classic truck-stop-slop. Greasy hash brown's, pancakes tough like pita bread and syrup that's not sweet. I have no ill will towards them but we just can't eat there anymore.

Something must have changed to the worst. The food isn't anywhere near the goodness it was. It is no longer a go to place. The last three visits have had problems. And I will no longer visit the Deforest location. I have been going there for the last 35 years and it is no longer a place I will go. Maybe a new owner will be able to re-create the quality of the past. TIME WILL TELL.....I will find another place.....the magic is gone.

It’s not much to look at from the highway, but once you’re inside it’s not a shabby place at all! The seating area is surprisingly spacious and the employees are very friendly folks both as servers and cashiers. We had a younger gal wait on us and she did a wonderful job nailing the order and checking back in.Domestic and craft beer are cheaply priced, and the food arrives in massive portions and is really quite good for a very reasonable price. The roast beef dinner had that homemade feel, and the side salad was fresh and crunchy.

Very good experience at this restaurant, is was very busy and the staff was polite and the food was good for being understaffed they did a great job and the homemade bakery is the best!

Good food, pleasant staff, and enormous desserts that are delicious!I had eggs and sausage with a blueberry muffin. I was so full but couldn't resist eating all my food! Yummy! It's a trucker's world and small dining area. But that's what gives it a little charm. Nothing fancy but good food and the prices are reasonable also.I'd recommend this place!
