The food was incredible, all three of us were absolutely enamored with everything we ordered. Our host Jen and our server Jennifer were both incredibly kind and helpful! Their good service is honestly what made me want to write this review, as I genuinely feel they both deserve a shout out.

We walked in with three kids under six. We received the MOST warm welcome by Bruno. He cared to know every child’s name and gave them a personalized experience. Above all the food was phenomenal. Amazing food and service. Can’t beat this. We live an hour away and would drive back just to have the experience again. It’s not often you can wine and dine with toddlers and tonight we really enjoyed ourselves.Well done Il Mito!!!!

Came here for our date night. First the gluten free options are numerous. Second only needed to mention the word gluten free once and our waiter was in the ball. Brought out my own oil and gf bread for before our entree. It was so nice to finally have homemade Italian that had a gluten free option. (Handmade gf noodles I believe too)It was a quiet romantic night that we both throughout enjoyed. We'll be back

As was the case with Il Mito I - OMG! Describes the food. The service also outstanding! The place has ambiance, and those cool garage doors for summer evenings - (can't wait!). Fecker did it again. The choices were amazing, the prices were very good for upscale, contemporary food and menu and the flavors were of course supreme. Fecker has Il Mito (which my very cool daughter turned us on to many years ago (North Avenue - 58th or so?) and then they opened Hartland, Zesti - also wonderful, just as wonderful and very cool venue - then this one in Delafield the 'Cafe' but full bar/wine/etc but limited hours so make a reservation! He also bought Dobie's in St Francis no where near us and it's a steak place and we don't usually have beef. All four of us were extremely pleased. I would say no children - it's an upscale, great food night out with family or friends and 4 people expect $200. per usual good food and drinks.nowherenowhere

Great meal . The 3 courses for $33 was a great deal. The beet salad was delicious. We both enjoyed the chicken vesuvio with chicken potatoes and mushrooms in a buttery wine sauce. The side of spinach was a great accompaniment. The tiramisu for dessert was one of the best I've tried. Great service. Great value.

My wife and I had a good experience at IL Mito Cafe.Good service, good atmosphere, many great options on the menu. We had an Eggplant/tomato app, then a Caprese & Carpachio. Entrees were Short Rib & the Feckerized Lasagna. Both were good...BUT.... they were both very salty. Especially my Lasagna. :( I couldn't even finish it, because of that. Had they not been so salty it would have been a wonderful experience.

Our daughter and son-in-law had dinner at Il Mito and recommended it. We had lunch with friends on a nice fall Saturday and sat just inside the open garage doors. All of the food was excellent! We shared calamari which was the most tender version we've ever had. The crispy risotto balls (Arancini Siciliani) were different and delicious. The caprese salad featured fresh mozzarella and wonderfully ripe tomatoes. The tortelloni with mushroom sauce was hearty and perfectly done. To top it off, the service was thoughtful and attentive. We will definitely return!!
Delafield Lions Club
Il Mito hosted the Delafield Lions September Dinner Meeting last night. We had a fresh light salad before the lasagne...cheesy saucy yumm....and ohhhhmigosh the Tiramisu for dessert was the best I've ever had!! The upstairs room was perfect for our gathering and Heather our server dud a fantastic job taking care of our large crowd. You are guaranteed an exceptional dining experience at Il Mito!
