We decided to try Belfre Kitchen for our annual friends Christmas dinner and were very happy with our choice to dine here. The restaurant is small and located in a renovated church in historic and quaint but hopping downtown Delafield. The service was excellent and the food offerings were very good but the menu is a bit limited. The prices are about average for a restaurant of this caliber. Several of us enjoyed the beef tenderloin while others had salmon, chicken or a large dinner entree salad. I would definitely dine here again based on our positive experience.

Absolutely delicious! The Cesar salad was off the charts, and the chicken Milanese was the best I've ever had. Chef's 💋. Our young server exceeded my expectations with her knowledge of the menu - super friendly and attentive, too. Can't wait to go back!

First timers to The Belfré, and we enjoyed it very much. Brunch on a Saturday morning was really great for everyone in our party of 5. The entry hall is a bit cramped, but the dining area is more open and very bright. We were given a table upstairs, which is not accessible to those with mobility needs, but it was fine for us. The Mimosa Flight was a nice start, and being able to select 3 flavors is appreciated. Apricot/Blackberry/Cranberry were our choices, and each was well-made. The dishes we ordered (see photos) were plentiful, and the presentation and taste were good. The menu has so much to offer it is actually hard to decide what to order. Our server, Courtney, was great and took exceptional care of us.
The restrooms are unisex and on the main floor. The hallway to them is a bit narrow and even has a prep table in it, which may be an issue for a wheelchair user. I'm sure that table can be moved momentarily if requested.
All in all, it was a wonderful brunch. The bell pull is near the front door, and if you ask nicely, I'm sure you can ring it to hear the beautiful sound. The organ pipes are upstairs, and it is nice to have some of the original building remaining for a nice ambiance.

Had high hopes but left somewhat disappointed. Drinks were delicious and didn’t get appetizers but the entree of beef tenderloin was underwhelming. Was dry and very little demi glacé to bring flavor to the dish. Veggies were dry too. Best thing was probably my 9-year old’s burger from the kids menu.

Amazing cocktails (don’t miss the jalapeño-infused tequila!) and delicious food — the focaccia was a standout. Service was top-notch, and the owner went above and beyond to help us with a lost wallet, even offering to meet on days they’re closed. We’ll be back as a family every time!

Absolutely incredible in every way. Every dish is crafted with care and tastes incredible. The wait staff are friendly, and the vibes are immaculate. Highly recommend for brunch and I will be back to try out dinner. Seriously go to this place if you’re considering it. Worth every penny.

We had a lovely evening, sitting outside at this quaint restaurant with ample outdoor seating. Inside, you’ll find a warm inviting lively dining room. For our meals, we had the bruschetta chicken. Delicious. My guest ate every bite. I had the rice bowl. Full of tasty, morsels of purple, radishes, edamame, shiitake mushrooms, bok choy and avocado topped with crunchy wonton strips, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. I added shrimp as a protein. My only disappointment was that there were only three small pieces of shrimp. For the price, I would’ve liked five.
Waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Timing of food and drinks was excellent.
This was not our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last. We will be back.

I can’t even say it’s the worst service ever because we didn’t even get any service. We waited a long time to be seated after the hosts just stared at us instead of greeting us. When we were finally sat we waited 15-20 minutes for our server. No one came so we left. So disappointing.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Stopped in for Saturday brunch and the caprese salad with salmon was out of this world. Everyone was very happy with the entire meal.
