Food was horrible. My fiancé and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and what we got was similar to a Tyson breaded chicken sandwich from the frozen section in the grocery store sprinkled with Tabasco sauce. Horrible is an understatement! Oh, and the best part? We paid $70 for this…Service and atmosphere were fine, but save your money.

Ella's was near a friend's house so we decided to stop there for dinner. It's nice inside with ample room. Expansive drink menu with a good selection of bourbons. I got a Four Roses on the rocks. We got some cheese curds for an appetizer that was good. It a mix of white and yellow curds. I got a side salad and then the Tomahawk Chop, which is a bone in pork chop. There was an apple chutney on the chop, which was very good. It came with mashed potatoes and choice of vegetables, and I chose the asparagus. Overall, a positive experience. I really liked the old posters on the walls for Milwaukee beer companies. I will be back.Parking: Most parking is across from the restaurant in a lot.Kid-friendliness: There are kids menus and sippy cups.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were no one, it was very cool inside with a place where you can hang out with friends and have some drinks. There were also funny photos by the bathroom.

Went there for a fish fry. Four of us and one persons fish was kind of raw. The waiter took it back, but the chef said it’s OK didn’t give her another piece or fry it more nothing and you only get a half a piece of bread and it was so darn dry Like it was out for hours. Told the waiter and all he said was I’ll tell the kitchen. We will never go there again.

Our waitress was wonderful! I believe her name was Kay. Very prompt and on top of everything. Appetizers came out really fast. The cheese curds were really good! We also had the pretzel. The entrees were okay. The Cubano was a bit dry compared to other ones I have had but I did like their housemade chips. Nothing was really hot. Maybe it was difficult due to our large table size but unfortunately I wouldn't crave this place again.

Just ok. The sunflower oil used to fry isn't great, sorry. It tasted like "personal" sweat.
Five us met for lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant except for a couple of others so it was very quiet which was good for conversation. Service was excellent with nobody else there. Our group had burgers, a chicken salad and I had the Ella's flatbread. We all liked the food but my flatbread was not hot. No one else had cold food so mine must have had to sit and wait on the burgers.

(Edit) At least the food was taken off of our bill. I love the look of the place and the ambiance, and I really tried hard to like it...Be careful ordering fattier steaks (ribeye) or burgers. They use an infrared grill that can smoke up and give smoky and oily off flavors akin to the taste of lighter fluid.Staff said there was nothing wrong with the grill, and told us that it was probably us smelling the gas from the fireplace.Thank you for the help owner in the comments to understand what happened.

One of the few places I have found that has consistent quality. I'm a big fan of the New Fashioneds. Great atmosphere. Love the fire place, with the "lounging level",and it's great to stop in when we are on the Glacial Drumlin or Ice Age trail.

The staff is friendly, it is super clean, and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering, with the dining room full. We had the fish fry and it was great. Will definitely come back.
