The Food was great!! We love the place! Last Saturday my Gf and I went to I.D for dinner. We walked in, put our name in for a 20 minute wait to sit in front of rhe chief's, so we waited. A young man told us our seat were ready , we head over to the seats to seat down and this man (manager) runs over and says oh these seats need to be reversed, we stated the host just sent us over here.. we sat down and see him running to the host and asking .. (we were right and in the right seats) we spend $200 that night. Just doesn't feel good to be treated like that .. just rubbed me the wrong way.

I.D. did not disappoint & exceeded our expectations for the service, ambiance & the uniquely orchestrated small plates & desserts! This was the perfect “date night” for us to help celebrate our anniversary while staying in Delafield to see family & friends. We'd recommend it for anyone that is looking for a memorable dining experience that is unlike any we've experienced in such a quaint but busy area of southern Wisconsin. We sat at the counter to enjoy all that goes into preparing, cooking & plating each unique dish: like watching a well rehearsed orchestra! We always enjoy trying unique flat breads & both the gyro lamb & red curry chicken were balanced to offer the unique flavors from well thought out ingredient pairings without being overpowering. Same with the squash fig blue cheese & chili maple fresh greens salad! We appreciate & desire the balance of sweet, salt, spice, acid, herb to intrigue our taste buds with every bite! Always save room for dessert since I.D. has the most creative, “eye candy” that we savored each & every bite! Especially after watching another well orchestrated preparation of all the unique components that went into making the banana mocha crunch bar with roasted hazelnuts, smoked vanilla ice cream, etc! Still desiring the blend of flavors & textures we never tried anywhere! If room doesn't allow for a full dessert, please indulge a scoop or two of their unique sorbets & ice cream flavors like I did. And last but not least the service from Di at the bar (we met the night before) & Richard our main server made our experiences even better with their vast knowledge, keen sense of timing & humor & the knack of making us feel welcomed & want to come back when we're in town! The orchestration of all that goes on at I.D. can't be adequately summed up in one review. One needs to experience this in their own with an open mind to notice & appreciate the nuisances that make this place unique in a unique ambience at the Delafield!

Shareable dishes with bold flavors. Excellent service. We weren't rushed. The plates were presented 2 at a time and compatible. We will be back to try the other delicious plates.

We have loved ID for years. One of the best choices in our area. Today, the fries (which were an absolute favorite must have every time) were enh. They weren’t crispy and covered with parmesan. They didn’t taste like they were fried in (was it always duck fat?) the usual. The tuna poke dish had no flavor. In fact we left the dish in the bowl and on our plate. The potato pancakes were the best dish but definitely not something i would come back for. I am so disappointed. I asked when the chef started - it isn’t a new chef. What happened ID? I am not sure we will come back.

We were blown away by I.d.! Adam was our server and was absolutely amazing - he highlighted all of the gluten free options for me and made great suggestions from the menu. Truly think you can’t go wrong with food, everything was incredible. We’ll be back!

I found this place on Instagram. We traveled a fair distance to try I.D. out. I was so pleasantly surprised. We arrived early and were able to get our table; we totally expected to wait at the bar. Richard was our waiter and took great care of us. We shared 4four of the shared dishes. Each of them was quite different. The Porkbelly was outstanding. We finished off with a dessert that was delicious. The cocktails were great. It was a fabulous experience. I wish we lived closer; I would go to I.D. often. Thanks for a great time, and can't wait to return.

Manager there, I believe his name was Tyler, went above and beyond to make our party feel welcome.

Everyone was friendly and I liked the atmosphere. We ate at the bar and the bar was very busy. This place can get loud. I liked what I ate and I like thier take on things. It part Asian fusion and some bar standards.

We were given the private dining room due to a cancellation and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Parker, was a fun and engaging and made the night even better. Thanks I.D. For a memorable New Years Eve dinner!

We have been to ID many times. We were seated in the private wine room with our large group which was very nice. My only critique is that the menu didn't have a lot of options for my daughter in law who has GF and dairy allergies- the server was pushing her to try it ‘as is' and she could not and we told her why. Otherwise all was great!
