Don't miss this one. I swear they have wizards in the kitchen. Tapas style dishes, easily shareable and just so delicious. Go here for a special occasion or go here because you like downtown Chicago quality food. Yes, it is that good. Each artistic dish is served one at a time making for a night to sip cocktails and have conversation. What a novel idea! Do it! Tip: Go early, parking is in high demand here.

Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere of the place. Only complaint was that our server did not explain it was a tapas restaurant. Which if he did we would have ordered accordingly. He asked us right off the bat if we have ever visited before and we said no, which was his opportunity to explain that to us. We would have probably ordered half the menu if we would have known. He also was not very attentive, said he was coming back with a beverage refill but never did; someone who I assume was the manager ended up seeing the empty glass and promptly delivered a refill. Our server was very much lacking service. We would have ordered more food but he never came back to check on us, by the time he did we were ready to get back home so I took a plate and dessert to go as I was still hungry but I was over the server. We will be back and prepared to order accordingly but least to say I would ask for a different server before allowing him to serve us again. Lack of attention was surely felt.

I.d. is a lovely restaurant/bar nestled in the woods of Delafield. Our server, Adam, was extremely attentive and offered terrific advice on menu choices and portions. The menu is mostly an offering of small plates to be shared, much like a Spanish tapas style of dining. But the dishes are a creative and delicious variety of American, Asian and Latino influences. Cocktails and the wine menu are expansive. Make a reservation, as this dining spot was quite busy.

Spectacular service! Mike was our server. Very knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. Boston was a great busser offering to take our photo when he saw we were trying to take a selfie. Amaaaazing cocktails! Tartar special was phenomenal. Scallops good, but only came with two. Deconstructed goat cheese cake was so delicious! It paired well with the blueberry ginger sorbet. We will be back!!

We love coming to eat at I.d.! It's the only restaurant in the area that actually comes up with creative, inspiring and new menu ideas on a regular basis. We love that it's small plates and overall it's always a wonderful experience. Wanted to make a mention that the Hamachi Crudo was spectacular. Every single thing about it was perfection and I wish I could eat it every day. Props to the chef! Also wanted to point out that the Goat Cheese/Plum Cheesecake was delicious and so fun. It comes deconstructed so every bite is a new exciting adventure. Everything was great! We will continue to come here for years to come. Thank you!

Id provided the four of us a night to remember. Our server, Parker, made us feel as though we were his only customers. He was always present when we need refills on our drinks, made excellent suggestions for our shared plates, served each plate at the exact right time. He was extremely professional and enjoyable to talk with. The food, as usual, was spectacular The specials for the evening should be placed on the menu and made available at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed each of the 5 shared plates - the two specials of the evening, lamb on pita, pork wontons From the menu we ordered fish tacos, scallops, and tempura summer peppers. Two in our party ordered whipped burnt honey goat cheesecake. The chef has such a knack of creating such flavorable dishes that you always want to come back for more.
