Reservations were at 7pm. We not served until 8:30. They were out of the cowboy and regular ribeye. We went with 2 (12oz.)barrel cut filets. At close to 100 dollars per filet they were overpriced and tasteless. Terrible!

This has been the worst experience ever. We used to like this place a lot. We got a gift certificate from our kids. Drove an hour to get there and got an excuse that we had to wait 10 more minutes even though we had reservations. That was even after I called to let them know I was going to be 15 minutes later than expected and still had to wait. We ordered the Parmesan scalloped potatoes, only to be told we had to pick a different kind of potato after waiting a long time already for our meal, that they ran out. We got told that there was a big party and things were gonna be a little later. Then we watched two other tables that got seated way after us and got their meals before us. We kept waiting and waiting and waiting. Then the manager(who never said she was a manager) came over and asked if we knew what was going on with our meal. We said no, and that we were very, very upset that everyone else was getting their meals and we still have not gotten ours. She walked away and said she will find out what’s going on. She never came back and we were ready to walk out if they had any other excuse. Then they came with our meal finally and a small container of the Parmesan scalloped potatoes and said that was what they had left over. It was like they thought that would make everything better for all the long, long long waiting. Never did the manager apologize for anything, nor was she around when we got the bill or after we were leaving. How appropriate! We did not get any thing taken off for the inconvenience, nothing. Bartender/waitress said she didn’t understand what happened. She started looking at her table a lot more after we complained to see if we needed anything. But, the whole time we were there we waited for drinks. We waited for everything. Hence, we will never be back there ever again!!

Haven't been here in 20 years, and I must say I walked away very impressed. Bread, soups, salad, appetizers, and steaks were all on point. Servers were excellent and kept things moving despite the computers being down. 4.4 rating feels low to me this is a really solid establishment that I will absolutely return to.

Don't get me wrong, if it was all about the taste, service and atmosphere, I would give Kurt's 5 stars. The food tasted amazing! However, we probably won't be back. Our food took a long time to come out. People that were seated after us were almost done eating by the time we got our food. This is one of the most highest priced places for the smallest portions. The menu was small and there were no Friday fish fry options. I heard others talking about no fish fry as well. I had a lobster bisque soup to start, and I have never had a lobster bisque with the shallowest bowl with not even one tiny piece of lobster. This is just one example. I cannot get over how much you don't get for the money you pay here. We are not a stranger to spending money on fine food. We go to many supper clubs and high end steakhouses throughout Wisconsin and this place is one of the highest priced when compared to what you get.

Most excellent meal! I can only go once every five years but I guess it was worth it! The waitress was the best we ever had, can't remember her name but she goes to Harshaw, WI her grandparents cabin! Best filet migon I have ever had! Are the rest the next day cold, just as delicious!
Kurt’s was by far the BEST Steakhouse we’ve visited. The atmosphere was sophisticated and relaxed; the staff were all very hospitable; the restrooms were clean; and the food was delectable!! If you’re in the mood for a savory steak or massive lobster tail — stop in and ask for Abby (she was GREAT), be sure to order the Lemon & Berry Mascarpone Cake (rich, creamy, and mouthwatering), peep the food presentation (it was fantastic), and don’t get me started on the table rolls (do yourself a favor and DO NOT pass on the bread, I could have ate 3+ baskets to myself)! To sum it up in a nutshell, we may just drive 4 hours to visit Kurt’s Steakhouse again (and visit our friends as we pass thru😉).

I have to say Abby was 5 star all the way. Her service was impeccable. The only reason I gave the service 3 stars was the bartender was too busy on her phone to service us. Also I had to listen to another waitress spill her life stories out to another patron.

Went there for dinner for our anniversary and everything was amazing! This was my second time at this restaurant and it was even better! Service and food were excellent! 10/10 would recommend!

No high chairs, so bring your own. Almost everything had a depth of flavor that was on par. There were just a couple of items that were too seasoned (too much garlic, too much salt).
