Don’t bother showing up on time for your reservation because you won’t be seated or eating remotely close to that time. Not sure what the deal is but 45+ min wait for a reservation is unacceptable.

Celebrated a special night here and it was flawless. The service was attentive without being overbearing, the food came out hot and beautifully cooked, and the atmosphere felt intimate and relaxed. This is the kind of place that turns a regular dinner into a memorable experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kurt's Steakhouse is hands down my favorite steakhouse in Wisconsin. The quality of the beef is unreal. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and exactly what you want when you go out for a great steak. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they serve. The shoestring onions are unbelievable. Crispy, light, and addicting. Honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal every time. The atmosphere is spot on. Comfortable but still upscale. It feels like a true classic steakhouse without being stuffy. Whether it’s a date night, a celebration, or just a great dinner, Kurt’s always delivers.

Our first time trying Kurt’s and cannot say enough good things. The service was great, people were friendly and inviting, and the food was amazing. Really love the atmosphere also. We had the stuffed mushrooms, lobster bisque, petite filet, and cowboy steak! So delicious!! Can’t wait to go back again soon! (My husband has not stopped talking about how good the au gratin potatoes are)
Definitely preferential treatment given to the regulars. Drinks and food came out very slow compared to the other tables. Ordered the ribs. Absolutely horrible. Quality of meat pathetic. Over cooked, dry and hard. Sauce came in a dish on the side. Worked in restaurants since I was 15. Imagined getting a full rack of juicy ribs smothered in sauce with char marks from being under the broiler. Nope. My son lucked out, his ribeye was good.

Reservations were at 7pm. We not served until 8:30. They were out of the cowboy and regular ribeye. We went with 2 (12oz.)barrel cut filets. At close to 100 dollars per filet they were overpriced and tasteless. Terrible!

This has been the worst experience ever. We used to like this place a lot. We got a gift certificate from our kids. Drove an hour to get there and got an excuse that we had to wait 10 more minutes even though we had reservations. That was even after I called to let them know I was going to be 15 minutes later than expected and still had to wait. We ordered the Parmesan scalloped potatoes, only to be told we had to pick a different kind of potato after waiting a long time already for our meal, that they ran out. We got told that there was a big party and things were gonna be a little later. Then we watched two other tables that got seated way after us and got their meals before us. We kept waiting and waiting and waiting. Then the manager(who never said she was a manager) came over and asked if we knew what was going on with our meal. We said no, and that we were very, very upset that everyone else was getting their meals and we still have not gotten ours. She walked away and said she will find out what’s going on. She never came back and we were ready to walk out if they had any other excuse. Then they came with our meal finally and a small container of the Parmesan scalloped potatoes and said that was what they had left over. It was like they thought that would make everything better for all the long, long long waiting. Never did the manager apologize for anything, nor was she around when we got the bill or after we were leaving. How appropriate! We did not get any thing taken off for the inconvenience, nothing. Bartender/waitress said she didn’t understand what happened. She started looking at her table a lot more after we complained to see if we needed anything. But, the whole time we were there we waited for drinks. We waited for everything. Hence, we will never be back there ever again!!
