Great looking Mexican restaurant staff is nice chips and salsa are excellent but the meat served there could be sold as leather. The chicken and steak 1 out of 10. I will end with a positive the shrimp was excellent likely because it was the only meat they cooked fresh or fresh frozen when ordered.

The service was wonderful. The food was horrible. Rib eye steak tacos, very dry and tasteless. My son ordered a quesadilla, it came out looking like one taco covered with cheese. We stopped at culvers since my son couldn’t eat his food.

Food was served hot, fresh and full of flavor, & not overly salty. Our waitress was friendly and timely.

$7.25 for a tiny little cheese dip cup, that’s $2 -$3 at any other restaurant I’ve been too. I guess i should of looked at the menu for cheese dip prices

Amazing experience at Mazatlan! Immediately provided with chips and salsa upon sitting down. The patron margaritas were massive and delicious. The food was to die for. I loved my chicken fajitas and the guacamole was amazing as well. If i lived close by i would be going to eat here at least twice per month.

The atmosphere and decorations are very colorful and delightfully mexican. I highly recommend Mazatlan to mexican food fans or those interested in mexican food.

BEST PLACE TO EAT IN DOWNTOWN STUFFY RICH VILL:
1) Owners are loving nuturing caring RED WARRIORS! They literally run a NAVY Ship in the building.
2) AMAZING MARGARITAS. Don't be afraid to order the nuclear bomb space ship one
3) Support these guys! I LOVE THEM!
4) HEART LIVES AT THIS PLACE AND I FOUND HER PICTURE ON THE WALL.

My ribeye was tough and gristly and super well done. It came with literally a teaspoon of guacamole on some shredded lettuce, and some of the blandest Mexican rice ever. The chili Ellen was a disaster. A half pepper with some mucky imitation hamburger and a teaspoon of cheese sauce. No breading, cheese, or anything resembling a chili relleno. The waiter saw everything on the plate that was not eaten and didn’t ask if it was ok; I’m sure he already knows how bad the food is so didn’t want to hear. I hope I can leave a pic of this “relleno”. The salsa could use some cilantro and spices. Truly lousy Mexican food. I hope this saves someone the experience. No one in our party likes the food. I can see why the place was empty on Saturday at lunch.

The service & atmosphere were really nice. However, the food was a little bland and didn’t have much flavor. They have both indoor & outdoor seating which is a plus in the summer.

This restaurant had a big menu and a Mexican atmosphere. The food was great and so was the service. We will be going again soon!!
