They have done a fantastic job renovating the entire place !! The food and ice cream is great ! They are now open year round !

Ordered a turtle sundae with brownies. The brownie piece had a black hair sticking out of it and seemed to be baked into the brownie. I was told they couldn't refund me the money because a manager wasn't there. They offered to make me a new sundae. I said ok, but no brownie pieces this time (for obvious reasons). They made me a new sundae with the hair brownies. Yuk. I ended up just throwing it away. I feel once they knew hair was baked into their brownie pieces batch, they should've discarded that batch. So gross.

Overall great place. Knew previous owners before the current but I am happy the vibes are still the same! Minor difficulty to get to the ramp if cars are there if you are wheelchair-bound or using a stroller. Still great! Love the food and ice cream!
Parking: There is only 3 or 4 parking spaces before the signs of tenants parking which is only 2.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Great to bring kids for ice cream
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchair access however cars aren't super mindful of it so you might have difficulty getting to the ramp.

Small just opened up ice cream shop totally worth the stop, has great food, got the Philly, loaded nachos and a kids meal all reasonably priced, they have Indoor / outdoor seating.

Today we went to the newly remodeled Wholly Cow. Had a wonderful experience with my family. The paintings on the walls are amazing, the custard was fantastic, and the french-fries were to die for. We will be back and will recommend Wholly Cow to others.

3 employees stood in the back looking at me like a deer in headlights, like they forgot what they were doing here. Then one lady spoke up and told them to come to the counter.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is NOT accessible. It has a ramp, but the access to the ramp is blocked by parking. Poor design.

The shop had a grand reopening today, Aug 5th 2024. We had visited many times in the past under the old management and had no complaints. The new owners have some work to do as my experience today was pretty bad. We ordered two ice cream cones and food. The first cone was soft-serve and smaller than expected. The second cone was not soft-serve and the amount of ice cream served on the cone was ridiculously small. When my wife questioned the serving size, the server said it was correct and sized by weight (which I don't believe to be true). When I lodged a complaint that the portion size was ridiculous and asked for another appropriately sized cone, they provided another which was better but also quite small for the price paid. Instead of an apology, the server actually insulted me for lodging a complaint! Also, the food order was also too small for the price paid.
Needless to say, we will not be returning again. On the one day the shop should be doing it's best, it fell flat for us.

My heart goes out to thank the family for 30 plus lovely years of providing the community a charming ice cream parlor in Downtown Delafield. The owners just retired in Sept 2023. We will miss them. Maybe someone else will keep up the tradition! Many times I had a Golden Calf Sunday. Carmel cashew!
