This place is 'meh...' at best. Beer was poorly brewed to mediocre, the vibe of the place was off, staff was present but not very personable. Worth a stop if you are a beer adventurer, but you will probably only go one too.

We camped at Durand Brewing Company this past Friday night on our way to North Dakota. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time. Beer was excellent. Plus you must try the root beer. If are traveling through the area again and need a place to stay, will definitely stop again.

We stopped by on a snowy Saturday afternoon and lingered for a while, having a wonderful talk with the bartender and another fellow at the bar. The building is a high-ceilinged warehouse with the brewery housed in the same space. There is a bar with gorgeous wood at the back, with some tables near the bar and others further out. Durand Brewing has an impressive variety of beers (not just IPAs like some places) plus a hard root beer and some sodas. We ended up sharing two flights (4 small glasses in each) which gave us a good overview of what they had on tap. There was free popcorn to accompany the drinks.We really enjoyed our time here and are already talking about making a return trip to Durand.
I know the other guy associated with Durand BrewingTraveler(Kyle)His knowledge is Amazing!...It's a looking drive from Humbolt Bay to Durand...but I hope to make there in the future....I call him friend (not sure what the heck he'd call me...lol) !I Have tasted a few of the beers they make...I must say...Darn good..you'd be hard pressed to find its equal...the bar looks down home and welcoming...I wou OK d definitely stop in jf I was anywhere near.!! Go ...see for yourself!
