Cioppino was incredible, and the small filet enjoyed by my wife was as good as it gets.Service was also outstanding from Sonja.
Italian night was amazing! Great food , service and a friendly staff! Will be back!
The food and service were both great. This is now my favorite up north restaurant. We will definitely go back!

I saved our time to go to Chef Rene's for my birthday. We enjoyed the bar, going out to the river side for a drink before dinner. Had a great appetizer, spinach and artichoke dip. All was great. I ordered scallops with pesto and linguine. It would have been great, but the fresh tomatoes on top were so saturated with thyme and oregano, you no longer could taste the tomatoes, much less the pesto on the linguine. We did take it home. I think with a bit of bouillon, creme, and cheese, I can fix it. My husband had the walleye, and he did enjoy his dish.

Been going there for several years. Food and service always great. However, this August they would not do separate checks. They divided our group into 2 groups but wouldn't at least do 2 tabs. This causes problems when time to pay. Hostess was very rude when we asked for another copy of the bill. I guess tourist trade isn't important.
Had the beef stroganoff, which was good but served over what appeared linguine instead of wide egg noodles. It's a nice place, if a little overpriced.

Fast service excellent service and the food and drinks are absolutely perfection! Will be back again everytime we come up north.
One of the more expensive restaurants in Eagle River. They have a separate bar area if you would rather grab a drink than sit down. The food was delicious (seafood, steak, etc.). It is very loud in there, that was the only negative.

A bit loud, but the food was good! We enjoyed a variety, including baked goat cheese, salmon, fillets, and walleye.

Supper club with varied and high quality food. Fabulous fish fry with lake perch or haddock broiled, baked or fried, or half and half. Homemade salad dressings. Great desserts. Open year round except November.
Draft craft beers on tap. Numerous specials and favorites.
