I ordered a cold brew coffee with a flavored syrup and it was delicious! Very smooth flavor. Also, the employees were really friendly!

Food is delectable, service is mirthfully expeditious, and the atmosphere is the perfect amalgamation of the Northwoods and urbane. The owners are truly masters of their craft and is evident by the multiplicity of imported coffee beans roasted to perfection. If coffee isn’t your “cup of tea”, Eagle River Roasters also has an impressive amount of specialty loose leaf teas that is guaranteed to steep your tastebuds into bliss!

Overall, a good spot! Cold brew is really weak. Ambience is nice and they have lots of offerings.

Love the coffee! Staff is always friendly even when there’s a rush of customers. Seating area is comfortable for visiting with friends, reading, or working on my computer. I highly recommend getting your morning brew here!

Great tea selection, all are fresh brewed.

The spinach quiche is very good.

The servers are efficient and cheerful.

Very good coffee and most of the staff are nice, but the past couple of times I’ve been here the lady with the short hair has been extremely rude for no reason. It seems like we’re bothering her every time we order or stop by. The most recent time I went we said thanks for the coffee, and she slammed the drive through window without saying anything. Another time she said “they just keep coming” in a very derogatory way. I usually don’t leave reviews but this place does not have a welcoming atmosphere when she is working there.

I was hoping to find a local roaster for freshly roasted beans. But, this place doesn't even bother to put the roast dates on their bags so there is no way to know how old the beans are. And, they use bags that simply fold over at the top. No seal whatsoever. No one-way vent. I picked up a bag anyway. But, unsurprisingly they're too stale for espresso. A quality, reputable roaster would print the roast date on their bags, and they'd use sealed bags.

The location looks good, the vibe inside is nice, and the staff is friendly. However, this is not a specialty coffee shop.

How can you call yourselves a specialty coffe when you have only one grinder and it’s set up with a dark roast? 😂
Is it just because you roast your own coffee?

Specialty coffee means top-tier equipment, multiple grinders dialed in for different origins (so people can actually choose), well-trained baristas, and most importantly high-quality coffee.

Also worth mentioning: I’ve never seen a true specialty coffee shop serving dark roast. Just saying...
