We stop here every year while vacationing in the northwoods. For breakfast we had a RAILROAD STREET OMELET, and eggs over easy with hash browns and wheat toast. Both were delicious, and service was great. Still a nice place to eat!

Went with a large group of adults and some kids, felt awkward being put directly in the middle of the restraunt even though there were tons of tables open in the back. People at the restraunt (both staff and guests) were upset because we were taking up the walkway and they were struggling to walk through, but we did not choose to sit here. Only one staff member had a good attitude but unfortunately she wasn’t the one helping us. We got some attitude for asking for a kids menu, even though we had 3 kids. I understand it’s a busy time of year but there is no need to get frustrated when we aren’t ready to order. Almost all food came cold, and someone actually choked on a hair baked into their dumpling. Heard them complaining through the restroom before leaving that we didn’t tip enough and we were very needy. We also got charged for more items than we ordered but just wanted to get out with our kids so we chose not to fight it. We tip based off service not because we are obligated. Mentioned something to some other businesses and they said they have also heard other family’s having issues. Hopefully this is just an issue with being short staffed or something, but we will most likely not be coming again.

My food burger was terrible. The burger, bacon, and cheese were scorched all around the outside. I broke off a bunch of the black and tried eating it but it was too burnt for me. The cook should never have sent it out to be served to a customer. It was disgusting and I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. I like burnt brats and hot dogs, but not scorched like this burger was. My husband's burger was good, the fries were good, and the chicken dumpling soup my husband had was good too. It was just my burger that was bad. Loved our waitress. She apologized and didn't charge me for my meal.
Just stopped by for the Fish Fry. It was excellent, cooked perfectly.

My wife ordered the chicken and dumpling , the dumpling was very dry. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my whole meal was cold. The carpets were filthy dirty , not a good experience

We waited a hour and half for our food - our waitress came over said it will be up shortly so waited longer than she came over again 15 minutes later and said our order was lost. Not even asking or saying your meal will be on us. 2 hours of our day we wish we could have back. Leaving hungry. ☹️

My wife and I just ate there and i had the lasagna rolls and it was cold and the noodles was overcooked. My wife ordered the charbroil chicken tender but when it came out it was just chicken breast and it had a weird taste to it and the only good thing was the chicken dumpling soup. We dont recommend this restaurant. Also the owner was very very rude to us when we were paying the bill.
