Highly recommend a wine tasting! We went for my mother in laws birthday and everything was so well planned out and delicious. They taught us so much about what we were drinking and what foods it pairs with. So much fun! We will do it again next year!

Popped into this place after dinner and had a wonderful experience. There is ample seating at tables and at the bar. Service was knowledgeable and pleasant. My husband had a white wine and I sampled the prosecco. They offer wine flights to sample multiple varieties at once. We will definitely be back for wine and to sample the food. A unique (and needed, imo) addition to the Northwoods!

Always a VERY special treat to stop in Kate’s wine bar. We spend about 5 months a year, about an hour northeast of Eagle River, WI … and always try to visit this delightful tuck-in & friendly (yes classy!) respite. Wines are delicious - assortment of wine-friendly appetizers, perfect! And the interior has such a delightful cozy feel. The Northwoods having such a spot as this? Call it a blessing. Let me tell you something about Mary Kate’s Wine Bar. If you’re in Eagle River and DON’T stop in for a sip? You’re a silly little baby with a low credit score. Mary Kate? She is mother. She sees you, hears you, and knows what you need. Her third eye? Wide open. The vibes are immaculate and the taste level knows no bounds. 10/10 will be stopping in at EVERY opportunity.

The owner was extremely rude. As someone who has been coming here every year on vacation, we will never come back or suggest this place to anyone. I didn’t see in the “fine print” that babies were not allowed which is unfortunate to not be a business that supports mom but it was the rudeness of how the owner handled the situation that made me write this review.
