Smugglers Lounge is one of those bars that instantly gives you that small-town feel, and honestly, that’s what makes it awesome. From the moment you walk in, everyone is super friendly and welcoming.
Do yourself a favor and try the burgers—hands down some of the most amazing around—and pair them with a cold beer. The beer-battered onion rings are a must. Great food, great drinks, and even better company.
In the winter, it’s even better—you can ride your snowmobile right there, park across the street, and walk on in. Doesn’t get more convenient or more “up north” than that.
It’s the kind of place where you can meet locals, strike up a conversation, and feel like you’ve been coming there for years, even if it’s your first time. Just an all-around awesome bar. Highly recommend stopping in 🍔🍺

It was my 1st time here. I called in an appetizer to-go. I will be back to try a burger & I'll definitely be craving more portobello bites 😁

Food was fantastic! We both got the Jalapeño burgers and alphabet fries. Right up there with the best burgers I’ve ever had. Fries too hot to eat right away. Perfect! Great bartenders added a lot of fun personality. Friendly crowd of mixed locals and cabin people. Drinks were strong and well crafted. The location still looks like it has for years, which is also cool. Smugglers is at the top of its game right now.

Fantastic joint. Stopped in on the way through from Marquette to Chippewa Falls. Connor is a great bartender and the kid working in the kitchen is on point. Try the horseradish, just not too much.
