They banned me for asking about one of their bartenders. I was a paying customer. I always paid my bill and tipped. I was just there to relax, enjoy myself and my company, and maybe meet new people. That’s not really what Wisconsin is about. Wisconsin culture is about community and hospitality. Hence: “Wisconsin nice.” As one of my former native Wisconsin therapists said, “It’s a business. They can run it as well or as poorly as they want to. I’ve seen well-run businesses and poorly-run businesses.” Both ends of the spectrum exist. Why would you turn down money from a willing customer? I was not rowdy or loud. I was perfectly polite and willing. Maybe I made the owner uncomfortable or she has something going on in her personal life? Very poor. Even when I was in there the bartender was a little short-tempered with me. Tiny Tap? More like Tiny Brains. Small towns are like that though. Outsider mentality. Bond of exclusion. A former Wisconsin therapist of mine would say, “In-group.” Are you familiar with the concept of in-groups? I wouldn’t think so. We reject you. We’re big and bad. WE REJECT THEE.
I was told to leave because apparently I had asked about the owner a previous time and that pissed off the wrong people? That’s not right. It is also a bad business strategy/model. Why do you want to alienate your customers? That is discrimination. It is just unnecessary and arbitrary. All good intentions on my part when I asked about owner. If they want to be disingenuous like that then that’s their problem. I did nothing illegal/criminal. I was just being friendly and neighborly. As I was exiting the bar I proudly observed, “So much for a welcoming community” or something to that effect but it’s probably just that establishment. Current staff: maybe get a bouncing gig next? Bounce this! ♥️💁🏼♀️
Tiny hole in the wall bar - great fast friendly bar service.
Quick stop but what we expected. Small but perfect for Northwoods feel. Best prices also.

Nice little joint, and the name tiny in the name does make sense when you go there. It's a narrow building, but can be a great time. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday so if you are there in the earlier part of the week it won't help you out much.
Parking: There is enough street parking near there for the days they are open

Best bartender in town.
Great little bar in downtown Eagle River adjacent to the snowmobile trail and across from the Ice Castle. Friendly bartender. And so were the patrons! It has that small town local bar vibe where you immediately feel welcome.
