Every single time we order take-out or dine-in, the food and staff is amazing. Hands down the best Mexican food around.

The fajitas were very good, large portion for the single or small size. Chicken quasadilla was more like a flour shell taco with chicken and cheese but good. Tacos were just okay. It was very warm in this restaurant. Not sure why.

Authentic in every respect. Chimichanga was huge. But next time a won't order the large beer unless I'm sharing.

I have been going to El Patron for many years and the food service and atmosphere has always been very good. Large portions, smiling faces, and great flavor you can't go wrong, this place has it all.

We just moved to the area from Milwaukee, with that being said…maybe our expectations were too high. The food was not great. The steak tacos with cilantro and onions were the best part but the steak was chewy and had too much fat. My husband got the pork chimichanga but it was stewed with vegetables and was soupy. In our experience, it’s made with shredded pork, but this was mushy and runny. The kids meals were okay, not anything special. The margaritas were mediocre but we couldn’t taste any tequila at all, the orange juice was definitely different. Usually house margs on the rocks are a faint green but these were orange.

The server was kind and attentive, the atmosphere was just okay, a little squished but I would have looked past it if the food was food. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Burritos were ginormous but very delicious and filling. The queso was good.

Parking: No parking lot, only on the side of the road is there parking. There is usually room though.

Always a good time with great service. Speedy food and kind staff! We're blessed to have such a high-quality Mexican restaurant in our small town!

Kid-friendliness: Although it's a smaller restaurant, we never worry about bringing our two young kids because we always feel welcome with them.
