Fish fry Friday. Food was okay for the most part. Overpriced. Broccoli and cheese soup was horrible. Service was extremely slow and we were in before it got busy.
We have had better experiences eating here but will not be back for Friday fish fry.

First time coming out since the menu changed. We sat outside which was nice, the service was decent and attentive and the musician was good (important to note his volume level was very appropriate. We've been some places where the music is so loud you can't even talk to each other). The food was just okay. Our daughter had chicken strips which were a good/standard bar chicken strip. My husband's blue gill were great and the portion was huge! The fish tacos were not great. The baked cod in them had zero flavor, they were served on giant tortillas with lettuce and shredded cheese, nothing else. Not at all what I expected...where's the slaw and salsa, anything to give it some flavor.

Honestly the food is good and it’s a great atmosphere. But the service is terrible tonight. We’re here on a Friday night with two kids when it isn’t particularly busy for a Friday. We waited over an hour for a single order of kids chicken tenders. The rest of our food came, incorrectly prepared, much later than that. The service was absolutely abysmal. The food took so long we had to get to go boxes and take the food home to put the kids to bed. Then it took another ten minutes to even find someone to pay so we could leave. No discount was given.

I had the Portobello mushroom entree and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the brisket & cheese sandwich, which he said was very good. We sat outside which made even more sense to use plastic silverware.

Was told 3 of the items that I wanted to order that they were out of. Slow service, but waitress was nice. Just not interested in working a Sunday afternoon. Next time will go across the river to Anchor Inn.

Fantastic BBQ surprisingly showing up on the Rock River in Southern Wisconsin. Great BBQ and riverside seating. The entire staff has been busting tail getting drinks and food to all the patrons. Highly recommend a visit here.
A really great BBQ place! We had a party of 11 and they easily sat our party, even on a busy Saturday. Service was prompt, we got our drinks in a few minutes and got our food in under 10 minutes. They had a wide variety of fun drinks. The BBQ was really good. The Ribs fell off the bone tender, and the Brisket was tender and juicy. Their coleslaw is creamy, not vinegar based (just the way I like it). Most entres were very affordable ($10-$20).we got the combo platter and it was only $20. We were even able to pay by smartphoneby scanning a bsrcode on our receipt, which was noce. Saves nice. Server was always very attentive to our drinks and if we needed anything . Well worth it! Great atmosphere, looking over the Rock river with outside seating.
We waited for over an hour for our food. Had the brisket dinner, too tough to cut with a plastic fork. Worst meal I've ever had at a restaurant. I do not recommend this place. I felt sorry for our waitress as she kept apologizing for the long wait.
