Not fancy, but, after more than a dozen breakfasts, every meal has been great. The servers are friendly, efficient and attentive to the guests. I love having an authentic truck stop restaurant so near Madison.

Typical diner. Chopped beef was cooked nicely, eggs overdone, everything was cold; toast not browned at all and not even warm enough to melt the butter. Service was quick and adequate.

Food is decent People are great Locals eat here. The walls are covered with pictures and cases of old Winchester rifles. Their is a counter to sit at if you're by yourself. Lots of truck parking and fuel

The meatloaf tasted more like a bland cheap Salisbury. The vegetable soup was pretty good and the mashed potatoes were good. Great server. I just don't recommend the meatloaf
Great little gem by the highway. A big 1/2lbs burger and fries for $15 is hard to find. Burger was tasty and cooked to perfection. The crispiest fries you will ever have.
All in all a great experience.

Usually pretty good food but today wasn’t good. Service was very unpleasant (maybe the waitress was tired). The Meat loaf was horrible ( I wanted to be fair but no other way around it).

We had chicken tenders, vegetable soup & liver. The food was good. The staff is great. Super friendly, welcoming & warm. Would definitely visit again.

I'm a fan of little, old school diners and Winchester Restaurant did not disappoint. This is the type of place that embodies the spirit of America! Had a patty melt, fries and beef noodle soup......... Everything was delicious but the fries were AMAZING........oh and there was a really cool John Wayne clock above my table
