Luke's Market St Italian Sandwiches

Great food, good value too! My new regular spot!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid in the 90’s. It’s where I learned at 4 years old, the good ole dipping your fries in your vanilla shake trick!

Luke’s has been a staple of Elkhorn for so many years and hopefully many more to come.

I stopped on October 10th, ordered a 1/3 pound burger with all the toppings and added cheese and bacon and a side of onion rings! I also ordered a large Pepsi. Yes my total was a little shy of $15 but let me say this, I would much rather support Luke’s than go to McDonald’s and pay the same thing for garbage and regret it in the morning.

My burger was made to perfection and my onion rings were fresh as could be! The service was impeccable as always and my wait time was just shy of 8 minutes at dinner time!

And don’t get me wrong, the location is tucked back from the main road but I wish they had more marketing. They should be active on social media and could start supporting local schools and things or putting up some ads to get their name back out there. It would make their profits sky rocket again!

I’ve hear rumors of them closing. I hope it doesn’t happen as this is one of the last genuine burger / shake joints around with great ingredients like it was homemade and original. I’m fearful the next owner will just demolish or re brand.

I will forever enjoy Luke’s! From an Elkhorn native, thank you for so many years of great food and great memories!

The menu prices listed on the internet are absolutely wrong. Prices were 75% higher than listed
We were told "they" don't list the prices, " someone else" does. $35 for a fast food meal. Have had better Italian beef sandwich meat cut too thick. Won't be back.

First of all the food is excellent. I was just disappointed at kids working who were speaking loudly and swearing like sailors for everyone to hear. Then talking about a boys private parts story for everyone to hear. I know ownership would not be happy with this. Hope it’s a learning lesson. I will give it another try because I want to support these kinds of businesses and I sure hope this is not the normal atmosphere

Good food but the 3 stars are for price. $5.99 to add a small fry and drink? 1 Italian beef, small fry and drink was $19+. Kinda over priced. We were passing thru and hungry. Won’t be going back when other options are near by.

When I'm in town, I have to stop and get with the loose meat beef sandwich or their delicious gyros. Their tzatziki sauce is fantastic.
Service is fast.

I don’t remember ever having to pay extra for condiments on an Italian beef sandwich other than cheese, At any place that I have ever bought one, they just ask if you want sweet peppers or the giardinara. There’s no extra charge, it’s a condiment for that sandwich.
Looking at the menu, I can tell you that this place charges individually for everything like that.
I can promise you that I won’t be back. The fastest way to lose customers is to nickel and dime them to death.
Also, that made an already overpriced sandwich cost over $12.00.

Italian beef sandwich was tender but lacked flavor. Good hot, crispy fries. I was a little grossed out by the tablecloth that looks like it's not changed. The women that took our order was very friendly.

Great Food! Love the staff, They are very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the environment at this place. I’ll be going there every time I’m in elkhorn.
