We missed our sunset sail, but this restaurant made up for it! We dined outside and my husband had the tomato bisque soup and the shrimp and grits. He would have gladly ordered almost everything on the menu! I have a shellfish allergy, so I had the blue cheese with bacon salad with my choice of protein, steak. It was delicious! Desert was divine. Our server, Jenn, was great. Wonderful evening out!

I’m an observer and I pay attention to detail. I noticed that each server not only paid attention to their own table but helped out other tables as they walked by. Not one somber employee which told me they really enjoyed what they did and who they worked for. Then I watched who I assumed was the head chef come out serving food and was impressed. I haven’t seen this happen in years. I’m from the south and used to see this often, but again it’s been years. He too smiled and greeted others. Once we ordered and my grands colored (their coloring sheet was a dog) our server told them the owner which was the chef (the man I assumed) that was good dog and he loved kiddos. He just happen to be walking by and heard the convo. Introduced himself and talked to the kids about his fur baby. Great man and people all around.
Then the food comes and not one word one spoken at the table. The food portions were overwhelmingly shocking. I travel for food. So I was shocked to see the portions for this type of establishment. You will not be disappointed. And the flavor, taste and combinations were nothing short of spectacular. I plan to return here every chance I get when I travel up north.
Sorry about the food pictures we needed to try. I ordered the Borboun Salmon, friend had the jambalaya ,daughter had the chicken and waffles and grandson also had the kids chicken and waffles.
Thank you amazing service!!

Tried this for the first time recently & loved it! I liked the elevated, calm atmosphere, without it being tooo too fancy. I thought prices were super reasonable especially for quality of the food. Our server was so nice & remembered our food allergies later on when sharing dessert options. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic waitress. We got cocktails, bread, the camel, and the ribs. Everything was fantastic and how we asked for it. Waitress was honest with recommendations (pertinent to what we told her we like usually). Worth the price! We had been to Lure the previous night and were disappointed with what we got for a higher price point.

I might have just had the best meal I’ve ever had.
My wife and I arrived about 4:45pm at the fireside Egg Harbor. From the moment we walked in we were treated to like family. The Drinks are perfect, the appetizers are crazy good(you have to try the Buffalo cauliflower, and the staff is well trained and engaging.
We walked in knowing what we wanted, a good Old Fashioned and the Jambalaya I had a could years ago. When a staff
Member told me about the evening’s special, a 10oz Jamaican Jerk Tenderloin served over a Yorkshire pudding with an apple glaze
It was absolutely the perfect blend of spices, sweetness, and the Tenderloin was done to perfection. Hats off to the Chef, this meal was perfect!

We had a delicious dinner here in early August. The outdoor patio was pleasant and comfortable despite overlooking the parking lot. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall a great place to eat1

Amazing Jambalaya, service and atmosphere! The head chef and his family have created a place we look forward to having dinner at every year. Special thank you to our waiter Jake for the hospitality.
