Drinks and oysters was great other than that the trout aqua chile was subpar from my background it definitely was not aqua chile and the mushroom tartare was far from enjoyable it’s a shame I was excited about tonight and while waiting for our reservation we were told to sit by the tree which right alongside was by a 4 top wish the experience would of been better but I guess you can’t win them all

Dietary restrictions: Did work good with gluten free options that’s about all I can say

It's an absolutely phenomenal experience to be able to dine here. The service was impeccable. The rotating menu leaves you longing to return for more. The extensively crafted cocktail menu tested our decision-making abilities as each drink sounded better than the next. We are excited to dine here again!

Wickham House is wonderful. The menu is eclectic. The drinks are even more so (a little less elderberry). The servers are insightful and offer alternatives where possible. It will be difficult to secure a reservation but hang in there. We've been lucky enough to grab a table with a walk-in. The restaurant itself is a converted home so very nice. A little more light on the porch and more light in the parking lot which is a tradeoff since you can see all the stars. Try WH today!

We will plan to eat dinner there twice if we only stay in Door County three nights. The dinners are much more creative than an exceptional chop house and provide inspiration and ideas. The cocktails are created with attention to detail. The service was impeccable. Our table was for two, and we did not find the ambient noise to interfere with conversation. The Wickman House is a Crown Jewel of Door County.

Our new favorite spot in Door County! We did not have a reservation but got a bar spot and received amazing service by Hope! She was attentive, thoughtful and fun! Food was beyond amazing and the list of craft cocktails was insane, both of our drinks were delicious. Highly recommend!

They generally open Reservations early in the year and fill up the whole season fast. Couldn't get a reservation, so we were at their door right as they opened, and they managed to squeeze us in. The food was AMAZING, and they were knowledgeable and happy to accommodate my Gluten sensitivity.

Dietary restrictions: Knowledgeable and happy to accommodate my Gluten sensitivity. Sautéed local mushrooms were amazing. Wife had the breaded pork, and her eyes kept rolling back in approval. We understand why they earned those awards.

Door County is lucky to have this establishment (and we know it). Cocktail menu is beyond any humans expectations. Between the 2 of us, we tried 3. Craftmanship! Food was simply put, the best in Door, but also most major cities.

Best culinary experience we've had dining out in many years . . . . anywhere - D.C. No. VA, Minneapolis, North Scottsdale and so on. Flawless cocktails and charming yet professional staff. We enjoyed a few different cocktails, the deviled egg du jour and that night's appetizer special, tomatoes from their garden w/ melted manchego and other delicious accoutrements. For entrees, we had the Chef's cut steak (rib eye) and the grilled mushrooms with grits. To have an experience like that again would be the #1 reason we'd return to Door County.

This was our first experience at the Wickman House, we were so excited to try it after reading the fantastic reviews! We have been to Door County many times, but usually with our kids, so have skipped it in the past as it is more geared towards adults, which I appreciate in some cases. We sat inside, at a table in the bar area. The room feels cozy, romantic and modern. The service was excellent, it felt upscale, but not pretentious. My husband and I each tried one of their signature craft cocktails and they were delicious, took a bit of time to come out, but well worth the wait. For an appetizer, we had oysters. They were very good, but tiny. We also tried a special appetizer that they were featuring, a dish comprised of hand pulled mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and focaccia. It was fantastic, would definitely recommend trying it! After the appetizer, we were so excited for our entrees to arrive. Sadly, this is where the experience went a bit south. My husband had the grilled mushrooms, they were so heavily salted that he could barely taste anything else. I tasted and agreed, could barely eat one bite, it was so salty. I had the pesto cavatelli. It was not what I was expecting, very goopy texture and I couldn’t taste the pesto at all. It also had brussel sprouts in it, which I am not a fan of. This was not mentioned on the menu and I feel like it should have been, if it was, I would have chosen something else. The dish was pretty flavorless, overall. We heard the table next to us complain about the saltiness of the grilled mushroom dish, so we know it wasn’t just our opinion. Both dishes came highly recommended by our server. We opted not to finish our entrees and ordered another round of oysters, but tried a different variety. These were larger and better than the oysters we had before dinner. Overall, it was a fun experience, but we both wish we had chosen different entrees. We talked about going back sometime and just getting cocktails and a variety of appetizers.

We had the appetizer specials, outstanding!!! All of our dinners were exceptional along with our server. What a wonderful experience and cannot wait until we get to enjoy another meal in October.

We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary at Wickman House. We experienced Wickman House previously and this experience again did not disappoint. The food was innovative and was presented well. The waitress allowed us plenty of time to celebrate and enjoy our experience.

Amazing as always. Returned for a 2nd time this summer and after many equally amazing dinners in the past. Cocktails are inventive and always on point and the wine list is amazing. The service is wonderful and attentive, but never stuffy or overbearing. The food was great, always accommodating needs but making great recommendations that also stretch your dining experience. The only request from my husband is bring back the BBQ from the the summer of 2020…
