Xiao long bao and their special fujian wonton were delicious! The dumplings seem homemade and also tasty. The shrimp dumpling was not my favorite though. I feel like prices are a little high, but there arent a lot of Chinese restaurants to choose from in the area. Service was great.

The food received had great flavors! That's the only plus. Ordered online and apon arrival, was told they do not have online ordering. Showed the host the confirmation email from their site and she still denied that it would come to them unless it was Grubhub.
Ok, now I've made the trip here so I have to wait. I showed the order to which she still made me order again verbally. After a 20 minute wait, my order was still wrong.
Don katsu w/egg & veggies-no egg & veggie =lettuce Wonton in chili oil- dumplings with a peanut based sauce Crab/pork soup dumplings-no crab
Really wanted to enjoy the place as we often travel to Chicago for this type of food & Milwaukee has limited options. Will stick with other options.
Place was empty at 6pm on a Friday. Straight to a table. Place seemed clean and simple. Menu was large but we stuck with the dumpling section. Server recommended a special soup and it was fantastic. Had pork dumplings and you add a little white vinegar to the broth. We ordered gyoza and pork buns, veggie dumplings and buns and egg fried rice. There were only three of us and we had a full take out box to bring home in the end. Dumplings were very good. Rice was excellent. A slightly different chewy texture to the rice that was very good. Would definitely go back when in the area.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian dumplings and buns as well as egg friend rice for some no meat options. We only reviewed the dumpling options. Probably other veggie dishes elsewhere on the menu
My wife and I found The Dumpling House tonight in the middle of the thunderstorms.
When it comes to Asian food, I’m quite adventurous, though my wife is a bit reserved.
She immediately gravitated towards Seafood Udon, which was delicious — fresh mussels, scallops, very aromatic and flavorful.
I ordered the Pork Soup Dumplings and the BBQ Bao. These were phenomenal! The broth in the soup dumpling was very tasty, good spice but not spicy. And the meat was tender as well.
The Bao was perfectly fluffy and light with great BBQ inside.
My wife tried both and would order either one again now knowing that the unknown is quite delicious.
Miss Lin was extremely friendly, and helpful walking us through the menu. We will certainly return based on our experience with her alone.
If you haven’t been here - you owe it to yourself. It was terrific.
