Had a great time providing live, Americana music (Fitz & Free). Appreciative, friendly crowd. Great beer (Blackberry Hazy IPA = YUM!). Wonderful bartenders, great BBQ. Highly recommend and plan to repeat!!
We stopped in on a Wednesday night to do the Rockcountycocktails.com scavenger hunt. It's a cute establishment that was once the post office. We were delighted by the incredibly friendly staff who explained the locally brewed beer to us, as well as the tidbit about the post office. There is a very quaint and inviting outdoor patio. We were entertained by a live musician. We just ordered nachos, but as other food was delivered to other diners, I nearly drooled. It looked & smelled amazing. I'm excited to go back soon.
The atmosphere was great and welcoming. The food was good and affordable. Cool little spot!
Stopped had a beer and listened to 2 musical performance by Evans.
Over the summer Evansvile offes live music at different venues around town check them out on Facebook. "Evansvile Underground Music"
This place is definitely a hidden gem. Their beer is delicious and the food is amazing - all at a great price. The outdoor patio area is adorable and comfortable for small or bigger groups. We will definitely be back often! Note: they have live music daily and the patio is dog friendly.
What a fun little place! We loved the food and beer! The live music was an amazing bonus!
Good beer, good food, and great entertainment!
Food was insanely delicious! We got the Friday tacos special (shrimp and cod), burnt ends, nachos, Mexican street corn, Mac and cheese, and cilantro lime slaw and everything tasted incredible. The service was equally excellent, even though they were quite busy, they handled it very well. The ambience of the space was great, they also have a selection games you can play at your table. My husband also ordered a flight of beers and really enjoyed that as well.Highly recommend - we can’t wait to go back!
Great beer and food. Nice beer garden in the summer.
An intimate, warm and friendly place to relax with good beer and BBQ. We were happy with the Burnt Ends, Brisket sandwich and the fresh and tasty sides. They plan to expand the menu to include smoked prime rib. I'll be back soon!

Great atmosphere and service. Beers were top notch. Burnt ends were extraordinary!
I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for a great local brewery (they grow hops!!!) and a simple menu of mouthwatering BBQ favorites, I highly recommend checking out "Hop Garden" They have a fantastic selection of beers made with their own homegrown hops, adding a unique and fresh twist to their brews.Their menu is centered around a few fabulous BBQ dishes that will leave your taste buds begging for more. The burnt ends are to die for, with a perfect combination of smoky flavor and tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat. The Brisket Sandwich is another crowd (and my personal) favorite, featuring succulent slices of slow-cooked brisket piled high on a bun. And let's not forget about the Pulled Pork, which is cooked low and slow until it's incredibly tender and flavorful. But it's not just about the mains – the sides are equally delicious. Their slaw is top-notch, with a perfect balance of crispness and creaminess, adding a refreshing complement to the rich and savory BBQ dishes. The street corn is delightful, featuring grilled corn seasoned to perfection with a hint of smokiness. And the Carolina BBQ Sauce they offer is not to be missed; its tangy and slightly spicy flavor will make you want to slap your momma (figuratively, of course). So, if you're in the mood for great beer, fantastic BBQ favorites, and a side of top-notch slaw, street corn, and Carolina BBQ Sauce, head over to Hop Garden. You won't be disappointed!
Really enjoyed this little patio escape right on Main Street. It was perfect weather, so that had a big part to play. They have indoor seating, but the place to be is the garden patio on the side of the building. Solo guitar singer Annie was very relaxing and entertaining. Again, she added greatly to the good vibe of the place. The beer selection was two basic lagers, a stout, and 3 hoppy beers. The stout is very well crafted and reminds me of an Irish stout. The Smooth Operator Lager was nice and well balanced. We got the BBQ burnt ends and pork sandwich. Both had exceĺlent flavor. The burnt ends weren't rendered enough for my taste, so the fat was too much. Love their cilantro slaw. I want to ask for the recipe! I will definitely come back here again
Nice place to sit outside and listen to some really talented musicians! Check out their beer lineup, take a sample first, find the one you like, and have a seat. You'll come back.
Great beer and music on a dog-friendly patio.
