While planning a camping trip, The Lemon Door stood out to me as a sandwich/coffee place that would be a great stop for a lunch. The pictures of sandwiches and platters online really set it apart. Once we arrived it was clear The Lemon Door is a frickin gem and if I lived in Fennimore I would be overjoyed. Melodie and her crew are skilled and creative. This kind of quality does not happen by accident. I had a croissant sandwich with turkey, swiss, hard-boiled egg, pickled veggies, mixed greens, mayo, and dijon. My wife and daughter both loved theirs as well. Great coffee too! I wouldn't hesitate to utilize the catering either. I'm just scratching the surface, and it's clear there's flexibility in getting folks what they're looking for. If I am in Fennimore, I am stopping at The Lemon Door.

Here is what i'll say, its rare in this world to run a business like this and actually care. I experienced the catering last night and it was top notch, this morning i came in with me 3 year old and the owner gave him stickers while making coffees.
don't get me started on the biscuits Its a must stop if you are in town and maybe even worth a drive to an underappreciated part of WI.

We stopped here after RAGBRAI and this food literally brought me back to life. Fantastic fresh sandwiches, house pickled vegetables, and a lovely owner to chat with who cares about what she does! Also local art for sale which we love. Just what we needed- 100% worth the stop

The sandwich I got was so good! I also ordered an iced pumpkin spice chai, it was absolutely delicious and definitely in the top three of the best iced chai drinks that I have had. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere and decor is so fun and inviting. I will definitely be coming back and might just become a regular. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Delicious sandwich and a nice quiet vibe for lunch.
The spinach, sweet potato salad is my new favorite. The bacon, pecans, hard boiled eggs, and crasins topped with the house warm bacon and vinegar dressing - what's not to like. The portion is generous enough for two meals for me. My only regret is that I have not made the journey sooner. Great food, lovely staff, and a welcoming environment. All the costumers were either laughing or smiling. I plan to return with friends.
