Food was good and wait staff was attentive.

The food has been hit or miss here but it's good portion sizes, vast menu, and very reasonable prices. The patio here is beautiful and there is so much seating! The bar tenders and staff are always so friendly and helpful. I love biking here (it's off the cannonball path) and getting a beer!

Lotta people say this place has gone downhill in terms of quality. I'd be one of those people.

area as you walk in usually gets a bit crowded as there is not much space between the entrance and where you check in. Their recipes may occasionally change (specifically with wisconsin style cheddar mac).

NO DOGS ON PATIO!!!

First off, we arrived today and there were no hostesses in the front. We then made our way to the bar with our whole family and a dog where we tried to find seating that was appropriate for a high chair. We were told that we could only sit near the bar (high tops only) with the bartender observing that we had a dog with us. Once it went through all the rigmarole and got seated we were able to order drinks. Still having a dog with us. By the way, if you Google dog friendly restaurants, this restaurant in particular shows up in the Google search. Once my dad got a beer with his dog next to him we were then confronted by someone who I thought was like a manager or somebody who told us we could not have a dog out on their patio. This is terrible service. If you're going to be open, have some hostesses and have better service. And tell us you don't allow dogs before letting us order things???????

Bar service was great for takeout.

Came in about a week ago and everything was fine. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review over one rude worker…. but really do not find myself wanting to return. All employees were nice but seemed busy. Again no big deal. My daughter used to be a server and I understand how it is. The manager, an older blond woman, spoke to my husband and I in a very condescending tone and told us the wait time in a rude way. We were willing to wait, I don’t appreciate being talked down to as a paying customer. This was not stress it was rudeness. The host, another older blonde woman with curly hair, was respectful and friendly. Server was a latino man. Also nice. Food was good. Yet I would not return due to the blatant disrespect shown to a paying customer. I would recommend the food, not the management. Training needed

We just had my baby shower here on Saturday. Christy was wonderful at communicating and helping me plan the event. The staff at the event was kind and provided great service to my guests. The food and drinks were amazing! I would definitely have another event here in the future!

Vegetarian options: The High point harvest bowl and Korean bowl are great veggie options!

Dietary restrictions: Great Dane took my and my guest’s dietary restrictions very seriously and had plenty for us all to eat.

Food was excellent. Bartenders were great. Relaxing atmosphere after a rough day. Can't wait to go back.

The Bloody Mary was the perfect level of spicy and one of the best. I had the Moody Blue Burger and it was delicious. They were also very sweet to have the Bears game on!

Came to The Great Dane for lunch as someone who is not from this area. Everything was awesome, including our server Morgan. The food all came out fast, fresh, and delicious. Morgan was also the best server I have had in a long time! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately there wasn't a sixth star to put for service... but if there was it would be a gold star to pin on my server Amanda! There is an old saying that the people make the place, and while the place itself is wonderful, the people there truly do that! Nothing better than feeling almost attacked by a server at your table because they care about you so much and want to build the experience for you and make the place feel like home! 6/5 stars and Amanda... v-pleasant!!

What to say, first off our server Amanda was phenomenal! What a way to start an evening, such positivity! Loved it, total experience! Tip her well, she’s worth it!!

Amanda heard my grandma had cancer and dropped everything she was doing to take college courses, graduated, applied for a grant for her research, and cured her cancer. The entire time keeping us up to date on our food and kept our drinks full. Wonderful waiter. Earned her 25% tip.
