My husband and I value delicious food, and we knew we wanted this to be highlighted at our wedding. Heritage catering did not disappoint!! We had so many of our guests share with us that this was by far the best food they had ever had at a wedding, and we absolutely agree!We had selected the braised pork shoulder, confit fjord trout, and mushroom and spinach gnocchi. All of the selections were heavenly!! The pork melted in your mouth, the trout was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi was dynamic and delicious! Heritage is on the higher end of cost in the Madison area catering, but I cannot emphasize enough that it was worth absolutely every penny. We were elated - and so were our guests.Leading up to our wedding, Betsy did a great job coordinating with us and communicating directly with Chef Dan Fox to ensure that we knew exactly what to expect given what was in season and sourced locally. The team was also very well staffed the day of our wedding and served a plated dinner to ~150 guests in a professional, efficient and effective manner.The display boards during happy hour were exquisite! We were so pleased with our experience with Heritage and would recommend them to any couple that values divine food.

First time buying from one of your pop up meat sales and couldn't be happier. The 20 pound variety box had a nice assortment and was a steal for the price! We added on some other things (ground beef, snack sticks, etc.). I'll be watching for future sales!

Wow. We had the barbacoa special, ribs, and charcuterie board tonight. Ribs were tender, fall off the bone and so flavorful that we forgot to add the bbq sauce. Barbacoa taco meal was so so good. I could drink that consomme. high quality meats, cheeses and fixings on the board. Every other meal has been dangerously good.

Stopped by multiple times during the summer when Heritage BBQ & To-Go opened up a wonderful Biergarten for guests to have a sit-down meal and some beer. I've never had Heritage BBQ or been to the downtown location, but now I'm wanting more! During each visit, we had wonderful service and exceptional BBQ, my favorite dishes were the j*** chicken wings and the pork tacos. Phenomenal flavor and spice in each dish. The beer was great too! The manager even stopped by our table and spoke about Heritage Tavern and how they opened up the Biergarten. We're hoping the tent returns next summer or that they are able to open a dine-in location nearby! Otherwise we will be making the trip to downtown for more great food. Thanks Heritage for providing us with wonderful meals and excellent service during our visits. See you soon.

A little late on the review but we had the pleasure of eating their BBQ last weekend at my daughter and Son-in-law's (takeout). Outstanding food. Brisket, pulled pork, and even the cornbread was really good. This restaurant is affiliated with the Heritage Tavern near the capital which we dined at a couple years ago. They are definitely doing BBQ right. Remind me of Nashville where it's never hard to find good BBQ.

This was spectacular! Happened to stumble upon it on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We did curbside ordering and pick up. Ordered 1/2 pound of pulled pork (AMAZING, lots of good flavor and bark), 1/2 pound smoked sausage, mac and cheese (very good), fries (soggy with take out but still good and came with a pork gravy), and cornbread. All came with a large side of BBQ sauce, pickled onion, and house made pickles. The gentleman who assisted us was very polite and friendly. It appears as though they have a Bier Garden under large tent on certain nights. We will definitely be back!
