It's rubbish, you can't enter the store if you come in a wheelchair, you have to wait for the cars that are parked in the fire line to be removed because you can't access the store.

We went for sweet bread we walked out with 20 bucks on sweet bread and a green salsa for dinner that night.

The sweet bread or pan dulce was ok. I say ok, because where we came from there was this bakery that was open till 1 pm and were constantly baking bread. And it was good. Really good. I mean o gained 30 pounds eating this bread all the time.

La Concha had a variety of pan dulce we for a couple different kinds, but honestly, there was no difference in flavor. Just a different shape. And everything we had was just a bit dry. There was a lot of merchandise there that we did enjoy seeing. Cream and cheese from central America which is nice to find. We've been searching.

I'll go back, of course, just not for pan dulce

The women that work there are rude, I called to ask if they had any products and they just said no and just hung up.

I went there at the behest of a gastronome buddy some years ago to try their Torta Cubana. It is an unbelievably huge layered and delicious sandwich of legend. Sadly, I have since moved far away and have not found any semblance of this "Holy Grail" of tortas! Elated to see they still offer it. Be sure to prepare your Will if you're insane enough to take on La Concha's challenge.

We went there for the delicious food!! The atmosphere is not much but the food is what makes this a great place. Although the language barrier was a challenge we made it through with help from a patient employee. All in all well worth the challenges because the bakery items were wonderful.
