Food and drinks were both good during $4 happy hour, but VERY DISAPPOINTED to see a 20% service charge added to the bill...and considering they make you pay at the table without seeing an actual bill, you don't even know you're paying it unless you ask for a receipt, which is given to you after your credit card has already been run. Very shady. Service wasn't great either--had a waitress with a poor attitude who was pretty slow and who, when asked if the three of us wanted to split the check, didn't take into account what each of us ordered so I ended up paying like $10 more than I should have just to not make my dining partners feel awkward. I won't return.

They add 20% tip and although my drink came just two minutes before the bill, they wouldn't adjust the tip amount. Good food. Not impeccable service.

This was our first visit (lunch for three adults). We were all quite impressed with the pizza by the slice. Very tasty and we understand that one of the "secrets" is a special combination of cheeses and it is special. The crust was quite good as well. All the slices are described as deep-dish pizza slices. Don' be afraid of the deep-dish category, it is "just right". I will go back. We also tried the mac and cheese. Tasty and a sizeable portion! Note too that although the menu has at least two fancy French frie items they actually also have regular fries which were very good. We are looking forward to going back for dinner and trying the deck when the weather turns.

*****I've never left a Google review before, but felt compelled to after tonight at Ollie's*****My fiance and I came here spur of the moment after a meeting in the area, noticing the serendipitous name and deciding to give it a shot, knowing nothing about it. Afterwards, I remarked to my partner in the car that it ended up being one of the best impromptu date nights we'd ever had.We sat at the bar, where the owner/chef was taking requests for custom cocktails; in which he took prompts from customers (e.g. "Aspen after skiing," "The joys of engagement/wedding prep," and "deconstructed root beer float."), and created delicious cocktails that fit the theme. All the while explaining the history, relevance, and occasional amusing history lesson related to each ingredient before he made them. He put so much thought into each drink that 4-5 patrons around us piped up to order each of his custom cocktails as he was explaining the rationale for the on-the-fly recipe. While it may be a longer wait time for your drink than most restaurants, he blended his infectious energy and sense of humor into every word (note-you can also order from other bar staff at the same time, so if you just want a beer/standard cocktail you don't need to wait). Not only did we have a great time with the atmosphere, energy, and friendliness of staff, the food was also excellent! I had one of the best smash burgers I've ever had, while my partner had a wonderful Pesto Pasta. Prices for food and drink are excellent (we had 3 craft cocktails between us, as well as a total of 2 entrees and one side) considering the quality of ingredients. It should also be noted that ALL bills include a 20% service charge, which allows all staff to be paid a livable wage of (at time of writing, 2/11/24, is $15/hr according to a note on their menu; which is awesome!!).As soon as we got into the car we started talking about when we should come back.We will 10000% be back to Ollie's very soon!!Vegetarian options: There is an entirely separate vegan menu which is about as long as the full menu.Dietary restrictions: The menu has options for vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a separate fully vegan menu

Limited food menu - the slice of pizza was very small (the size of a large cookie), greasy, and mostly dough. The jambalaya didn’t have enough sauce and the chicken was very dry. The white hominy soup was good. Service was very fair and they tack on a 20% gratuity no matter what - we had to ask twice for our beverages - we won’t be returning. Sorry!

Place was pretty deserted around 5 to 5:30. Only diners were leaving when we arrived, and only one couple at the bar. Chose a blueberry cocktail off the menu, that was not tasty. House salad had mushy cucumbers. Same cucumbers in my falafel sandwich, that had too much tzatziki sauce, and the pita cracked in half, so it couldn't have been too fresh. Bartender never inquired how our food was. 20% gratuity is automatically added. Two cocktails, two sandwiches, one order of fries, and a side salad came to $60.
