Good food and in what I thought were larger than average portions (especially the fried curds!) Good beer and drink options.

Being new to the area I went to this place for the first time, looking for a place to watch a game. The food here was good and they had a wide variety of stuff. The staff were all nice and even let my aunt order a secret menu item (discontinued dish). All the staff are very personable and even give out free stuff when the Badgers get a touchdown. Definitely going back to catch a game and get some food!

Ordered the poor man's lobster and the fish was dry and chewy, not much flavor other than a tiny hint of old bay. The butter was flavorless, felt like a neutral oil. The bartender suggested butter pats, but that is not the same thing as melted butter. It feels like the non fried seafood options are very much an afterthought. The sides were good. Disappointed overall.

Great dinners! I had the beer battered cod, which was perfect. Nice choices of sides. I had very good cole slaw, and the sweet potato fries were the best I've had anywhere. So was the tartar sauce. My husband had the Cobb salad, which he gave an A+. Our server was fun, friendly, and excellent at her job.

Had a very poor experience with staff.
My girlfriend and I are not from here, but we’re in town for a Badgers game. Found this restaurant on Google and the menu looked good, so we decided to check it out. We were seated almost immediately and given menus. After 20 minutes, that’s as far as we got. Servers passed us waiting on other tables, but not us. I think the cherry on top was a couple that was seated behind (and after) us and they were seen by a server. I won’t make this mistake again. I’d give them a zero if I could.

I didn't order food. I lived in Wisconsin almost all my life but moved south 8 years ago. There are a bunch of things I miss about living in Wisconsin. Bloody Marys are one! I stopped in here to get my bloody Mary fix. I'm kind of a purist and thought the increasing amount of toppings was silly and kind of ridiculous. I saw on the menu that their Bloody Mary was topped not only with the traditional pickles, but also olives, mushrooms, cheese curds, sausage among other things. I ordered a bloody and told the bartender to just give me the pickle. She ended up giving me pickles, olives and celery. The bloody Mary was perfect! Maybe it was because I hadn't had one in a long time, but it had the perfect balance of tomato and heat. My boyfriend, if he had been on this trip, might have liked more heat or maybe some horseradish, but this was perfect for me.... now about the toppings... I'm not a fan of the over the top stuff they put on bloody Marys now. Just a pickle for me. I had pulled the pickle, olive, and celery out and put it aside. Halfway through the drink I decided I needed a big bite of pickle....ugh...I took a bite and swallowed and immediately started to gag. There was a very long hair wrapped around the pickle. It had wrapped around one of my teeth. I was able to grab at it. It was attached at one end to the pickle and the other end to my tooth.I was able to fish it out of my throat. Yuck. That almost ruined the experience but the taste of the bloody Mary was so devine that I kind of ignored it and hoped that the alcohol in the drink killed any germs on the hair.

The broasted chicken is out of this world. I currently live in Chicago but within the next 2 months I'll be moving to Madison. My place of business is only 6 minutes away from this place and it will be the place to go. The atmosphere is ridiculously awesome and being a connoisseur of chicken, this place is five stars without a doubt. If you're in the area you don't want to miss out

Onion rings were a little undercooked. But everything else was absolutely delicious! The house barbecue sauce was great on everything, I had the sliders all were great. My daughter had a brownie ate the whole thing in 5 minutes wanted another.
