A 6 Dollar delivery fee for pizza that is more than a step under Little Caesar's hot and readys?! Are you lot high or just incredibly stupid?

What happened since the last time I ordered? Quality has suffered and prices have skyrocketed (note: This is a problem with the brand, not this specific location. Everything was made to order as specified by corporate I’m sure)
Had my usual order of a Large pizza and Stix which has gone up considerably in price compared to 6 months ago. Used to be 15 and some change with a deal now we’re pushing closer to 25 which is insane by itself for Toppers pizza but more over the food just sort of sucks now is the only way I can put it. Looks like they switched purveyors of marinera sauce and what they got now is this neon red concoction that’s sort of sour and lacking in tomato flavor and visually has less spices in it. Wouldn’t be surprised if it were the evil Sysco as they have ruined many a restaurant. I get profits must go up but the crap they peddle is just bad.
They cut back on cheese on the stix so they only have a paper thin veneer of mozzarella on top and they were dry. Like the dough has just this sort of flavorless chewy texture to it that’s not pleasant.
This pizza was still good though and was I remembered so I’m a bit perplexed as to the quality difference so are the doughs for the stix and pizza different now? Why? The stix are now just an inferior choice to just the regular hand tossed pizza.
Also while I rarely did delivery because I live so close to this location (I’ve done it once while this location has been in operation), hearing they killed their own delivery in favor of those horrible app services where your getting god knows who delivering and being around your food items that are not secured in any way is disconcerting at best. Eliminating a job position in favor of more profits is not a good look.
Overall I think I would order just the pizza again but am disappointed the main thing that set the brand apart was the stix specifically and the price. It seemed they have lost both of those things and it’s just sort of disappointing and sad now.

I ordered four pizzas and three out of the four pizzas was overcooked (burnt )hard this wild mushroom pizza was the worse of them you can’t even bite it.The pizza was brittle

-they never have regular coke here -there hours changed. People get pizza late, why would you do that? They always close by midnight now.

Ordered some pizza and bread sticks from this location, paid for extra sauce. We didn't get any of that extra sauce and was unable to get that part of the bill refunded
Really wanted to just get a simple large pepperoni pizza for takeout, unfortunately the order was never processed to reach the "cooks" screen. I not only couldn't get my pizza for takeout, but after inquiring again about my pizza they realize they again failed to put a pizza in the oven for the second time saying they would also give me some topperstix for my trouble. After finally being noticed by a delivery driver about 40 minutes later after waiting on the lobby for my pizza, he managed to get me a pizza off the shelf that wasn't even my pizza but happened to have pepperoni on it I declined the freebie topperstix as they were not put in the oven (again), I have things to do as an adult. Thanks again to the delivery driver for getting me a pizza despite the circumstances, but they seem to really have some work to do for takeout orders yet.

Love this Topper's location! I've had a great experience placing take-out orders both in-person and over the phone. I often ask for a modification of my pizza (e.g., no bacon), and they always get it right. The pizza is delicious! I've thoroughly enjoyed the mac and cheese, smoky bbq, and buffalo chicken pizzas. The totzza was pretty fun, too. They also have a selection of vegan pizzas, which are pretty tasty and make this a great location to bring family/friends with varied dietary restrictions or preferences. The staff at this location are always super friendly and proactively apply discounts if they have one available for the day, which is awesome.
Vegetarian options: Topper's has plant-based chicken and Follow Your Heart non-dairy cheese!
My wife ordered a pizza to be delivered. They told her by 10:00. At 10:20, they told her "5 more minutes." After fifteen more minutes she told THEM TO CANCEL THE ORDER AND THEY HUNG UP ON HER.

Employee refused to give us our drinks, and ignored us when we tried to ask for them. Thankfully the regent street store was nice enough to give us our drinks.
Toppers needs to due a performance review of their employees at this location.
Edit: now eating the food after driving around all of madison and the pizza isnt cut and tastes kinda gross.

I was helping my sister packing in Verona and haven't done the teenage thing in decades. We wanted pizza late night! Lol After a hard days packing. We ordered A large pizza with asiago cheese, Pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. The pizza was excellent! We wanted to order boneless wings but they were out. So we ordered two orders of bone in Parmesan Garlic and Mild Buffalo. They forgot the flavoring on the wings. Called the next day and they came and brought us new wings at no charge and no hassle. I have never had Toppers but it was really good. The staff is super friendly from start to delivery. The food was hot each time too. I recommend this location.
