North Shore Chophouse

The food was very good and the price reasonable for this type of specialty foods. The location on the lake is very nice, but is easy to see from the bar area only. Staff was good, but had a lot of tables to serve at least when we were there. She did a nice job otherwise and others were there to keep your water filled and take away plates. Nice they acknowledged our anniversary too! I would come back again for sure.

Our first time there. Our server was very friendly. The only gripe I have is when he was listing off the specials, he didn't give us a price, and I forgot to ask. My wife got the Halibut, and I got the Kansas strip steak. Both were good but not 65.00 and 76.00 good. Next time, I'll try the ribeye for 38.00. On the plus side, the lemon mascarpone fruit dessert was fantastic .

We came here for our anniversary and were so impressed with everything! The service was impeccable and the food, incredible. Do yourself a favor and order the bacon appetizer!

drive 20 minutes after being told that patio was pet friendly. On arrival told no dogs AT ALL anywhere on premise (service animal??)

So you call this place to ask if they allow dogs in their patio, they say YES, you drive 25 min just for the hostess to say no. She tried to tell me that I called the wrong place. Shame. You dog owners, take your pup somewhere where they are appreciated.

My food was excellent and so was the staff!!

North Shore Chophouse is phenomenal. We arrived for our 6:15 PM reservation on a Saturday night, and we were seated immediately. The hostess was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Our server was superb, and our excellent cocktails were delivered promptly. The lobster bisque was excellent and served piping hot. The entrees were superb, the filet medallions and the salmon. For dessert it was the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. You need to try this place, not your typical Wisconsin supper club!

Food was ok but we won’t be back. Hostess was at the door when we arrived but literally had a scowl on her face and never greeted or welcomed our group. We were celebrating a retirement and seated at three separate tables with other tables in between - not at all what we expected and really killed the celebratory vibe. Hostess returned later to tell us we had to leave as another group needed our table. Very rude

If you are looking for a relaxing dining experience, then I don’t recommend North Shore Chophouse. They have a very rigid one hour and fifteen minute time limit for sitting at a table, which I didn’t realize because my friend made the reservation . While the waiter was very attentive, he was rushed us through our meal and even tried to take my plate before I was done with my meal. At exactly 1:14 minutes into our dinner, the hostess made it clear we needed to leave but were welcome to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, there were no seats, so we had to leave. When paying over $50 a person, I don’t want to feel rushed. For that reason, we won’t be back.

Amazing! We had the Feta Dip and their special risottos. We have also tried their lobster bisque and scallops on top of other dishes. Everything we’ve have tried has been top tier. The atmosphere is where you could stay there all night and enjoy yourselves. The service has always been attentive and hard working. We love this place and plan to be forever returning customers!

We are regulars here and every meal is amazing. Even for the non steak people there are always great seafood and poultry options. The staff is the best. Their special themed events are also amazing so definitely give them a follow for updates.

As foodies, it is a special treat to eat out at a great place that is just as good as what we make at home. Once the lake freezes, we will snow mobile over!
