We visited for the first time tonight. The food was okay and the drinks were decent. However, the service was awful. The bartenders were super rude and seemed annoyed at any request. At one point, Bree (one of the bartenders) confronted me and my friend accusing us of "making comments all night". Having a bartender confront me in that way is offensive and horrible service. Work on getting better and more friendly bartenders.

My wife Bonnie Rae and I enjoyed dinner before watching the Packers tie to the Cowboys. Cynthia was incredibly friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to spend time with. Chairs are so comfortable at the bar and I suggest the wings. This experience was awesome and we plan on coming back soon. 🔥

Nice looking bar/tavern. Not greeted as we entered, one waitress was noticeably more attentive than the other. Chicken sandwich was very large, but the burgers were just OK. Cheese curds were good, but the ranch was heavily flavored with mayonnaise. Witnessed another table, having issues with the air vent over their table, looked like it was blowing dust into their food.

We stopped in here for our anniversary. Wanted some good burgers! Let me tell tou this place sis not disappoint. Yovanna was our server and she was attentive, quick and fun! Great vibe, great music! I definitely recommend checking this place out!

The drinks are great and the servers are very kind. However, the food is very hit or miss. The fried chicken bowl and the burgers are good, but by all means, do not get a grilled cheese. The "pepper jack" is definitely more white american cheese than anything, and the bread was not grilled at all. There was one spot in the middle that was cooked, but the rest of the sandwich was just untoasted bread. It's easily the worst grilled cheese I've ever had.

This is why I wait a few weeks before writing a review…a dining experience is not always as bad or as good as it seems
The Walleye fish fry was good; not too much breading, but the sides were in pre-portioned containers. Potato pancakes were fine.
The atmosphere was great. A bit of music and crowd noise but easy to converse at our table of four. The restaurant was not full for a 5:45pm seating (no reservations) but our waitress was not too friendly. She brought us things when we asked but after the first two minute check-in we had to ask for more water, napkins, drinks, and the bill.
They really have an outstanding reputation for burgers, and that is well deserved.
Parking: Limited street parking but about the same no matter where you eat in Downtown Fort Atkinson on the river—The Rock River!
