The waitress we had seemed like she had too many tables and was really personable, she seemed rushed. It was our first time there ever and we have had other places that we liked better. My mom wanted a cup of coffee after the meal and the waitress we had said I am sorry I don't have any made. Normally, any other place we have tried the waitress would have gone and made a pot, it only takes a little bit of time

I've eaten here before, and the food is always delicious. That day, I ordered the tips, and they tasted as if they were char-broiled or burnt, and the baby red potatoes tasted like they sat in the roaster all day. Maybe they're training a cook? Also that day, there was a newer bartender. She was having trouble keeping up. But the blonde older lady behind the bar also, never helped out.

Love the history The Golden Frog holds, being built in 1878 and serving people since. on the menu it states the saloon keeper and builder had golden red hair, hence the German name, "Zum Golden Frosch," which translates to The Golden Frog ? Great atmosphere, staff, and food!!
Parking: We parked on the street right outside the restaurant doors.

This is a cool little corner bar in a small Wisconsin town. I wish all bar food was this good. Try the frog legs!!! I remember having the frog legs long ago when I was a kid, and they are as delicious as I remembered. My wife had the patty melt and it was cooked perfectly, juicy, and served on very nice marble rye. They also serve dessert from another local bakery. Service was friendly and attentive. I strongly recommend stopping in for a drink and a meal.

Fantastic food. Took awhile to get it & order your next plate for the "all you can eat" dinner, as soon as you get your plate. Tiny sticky table wasn't a plus but thankfully the food made up for that. Happy, friendly service so stop in & try it.
