Used to be one of my favorite places to shop until this morning. I walked in around 11am and saw big thick sirloin steaks. I asked for 2. The gentleman behind the counter didn't grab from the top. He reached under a layer of parchment paper and took 2 lesser ones. Nothing I would have bought if I saw them. Then the check out person double charged me for an item a the register. I didn't find out till I checked my credit cardreceipt. She did give me cash back. Truly a disappointing visit. I thought it was more reputable than that.

Today my mom and I stopped here for our first time. We absolutely love this place. Great quality food and fair prices! The best part though, was how wonderful the attitudes were of the employees. Super nice people! I wish everyone was like this??

LeRoy's raspberry chipotle bacon is the FINEST bacon you will ever eat. It is a perfect blend of flavor in every slice. It pairs well with eggs and hashbrowns. It also can fly solo as a cold snack. You will not be disappointed. It freezes well and I always stock up when I come through. While you are at the till checking out, grab as many cookies as you can carry. Do not worry about being judged by those you pass on the way out... trust me....they are about to do the same thing so be thankful that you got there before them. The cookies are amazing! Warm them up gently in the microwave and they will send you into a feeling of cookie extasy. Now the best for last....The staff are amazing! They work in a magical place where every customer is excited to be there. They begin to recognize you if you come in enough... :) I live 240 miles away and come in once a month. They know right away I am after a stack of peanut butter cookies, and they oftentimes direct me right to the stash.

Fitting for the 4th of July weekend I tried Leroy Meats in-house brats named the USA Freedom Brat. This happened to be a memorable experience for me. The Freedom Brat is fitted with a unique blend of mozzarella cheese, blueberries, and cranberries with quality pork , and other seasoning #RedWhiteBlue.
The one thing that stands out about Leroy's brats is the perfect craftsmanship involved. These bratwursts are the perfect mix so that they're not fatty, allowing them to heat up on the grill without splitting or shrinking, and there's no flare-up from spewing fat. It's this type of attention to detail that's made Leroy Meats a winner in so many competitions through the years.
Supporting a company like Leroy Meats is always a pleasure, and their customers in the surrounding areas are truly fortunate to have such a top-notch company in their communities. Coming from a larger metro area, I can say nothing around my former home comes close to the quality and selection, and arguably most of all, care that is put into their products. Would I recommend? Heck yes - go there, try some weird sounding bratwurst - you won't be disappointed.

Picked up my venison sausage and sticks a few months ago and was really disappointed. Waited till they aged a little to see if the taste would improve with drying. Nope, they still have a nasty vinegar taste. will not be back.

On May, 22 2024. My son and I made our monthly trip to buy meat at Leroy meat in Fox Lake. Never in the many years shopping there and Horicon location have we received such excellent service. Our cashier was the best. Went above and beyond to save us a couple bucks by pointing out the sales and deals. We travel from NFDL to buy Leroy's fresh meat and it is well worth the trip. Thank you to that special cashier!
