Oscar's Frozen Custard | Franklin

We lived in area 3 years ago but still come to area often for appointments from 2 hrs away. This is the 2nd DISAPPOINTING visit. The burgers are overdone hockey pucks that are also very tasteless(that must be why they put soooo much condiment on them). The patties remind me of what they used to call soybean burgers-oh yeah almost forgot about the bacon,it might be better if it wasn't left in steam table for days on end... Today's custard was not even close to what tiramisu should taste like-it was kinda gritty and had no flavor of espresso at all... I guess, all in all, we should have not given Oscar's a second chance after last visit but we did,shame on us for that mistake. "Caveat Emptor" wish there were more kopps around

In my opinion the food is between that of McDonald's and Culver's.I usually get the BBQ and onion 🧅 rings. Tasty.

2 custards and 1/2 pound cheeseburger with everything on it. Thw custard was fabulous Reese peanut butter cup. The ches3burger was ok. Thw burger was underseasoned and could use more cheese on the burger. Under-whelming burger. Service was friendly and quick. Custard price was very reasonable and the custard of the day was yummy. We'll come back for custard.

We absolutely love Oscar's. I particularly, thr Oak Creek location (not that the other locations aren't great, because they are). The food is on point, the custard is even better. The restaurant seating is great and the model train is a real treat for kids and adults alike.

Service - a young girl Jessica B the clerk had to ask for a manager to assist with my order of 4 pints of chocolate custard to be paid for on my credit card. I had a second separate order to purchase of a 25.00 gift card I wanted a separate receipt to include that the gift card had been successfully activated and paid for . She summoned the manager and then she ran in the back with my credit card in hand ,which made me uncomfortable since the two managers were at the window still. They figured it out but at the end when she gave me my card and orders back she said Oscar’s preferred that my order should be all in one transaction. I felt bothered by her comment
Especially since it was a gift card 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have had better burgers but the service and atmosphere are great.

It really pains me to leave this review because I've loved this place for years, but I'm deeply disappointed to hear that this establishment has ended a relationship with a group of people who were holding harmless meetups here monthly and working hard to fundraise for them. I was there for one of these first meetups and it was an amazing heart warming experience. I cannot fathom why they would turn these people away.

Terrible choices to break a relationship with a group that has previously fundraised for the Waukesha rebuild, letting them know two days ahead of a planned event (and a birthday of one of the organizers) that they were no longer welcome. I will not be visiting either location any longer.
