Cornerstone Restaurant

We live within a mile of this place. I like it a lot. My only issue, which is why only 4 stars, slightly inconsistent. My favorite dish lately is the shrimp scampi. So delicious, but it’s a little different each time. More /less garlic, etc. All good in their own right. To me this is how you know it’s male for your order. However, if someone is looking for EXACTLY the same… I have had a handful of things on the menu & nothing disappoints. My family has each had a handful of other items. Again, all dishes are delicious. Friendly staff. Small & quaint.

The beer battered cod (5 pieces of cod) with fries was delicious. The food was hot and the fries were extra crispy. The food server was friendly. The restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately. The price was reasonable ($17).

I had the pecan encrusted chicken at my last visit and it was delicious and tender.
I am very disappointed and have been visiting whenever I can for over 10 years.

Great food! Great cozy restaurant atmosphere.
Met friends for lunch. Fish tacos were delicious! Friends LOVED the lamb burger. Great ice tea choices too.

Adorable place with lots of artwork on the walls that you can purchase. Their food is incredible and they have really great prices and specials everyday. Service was quick and friendly. The homemade chips were delicious. I got a pecan chicken sandwich that was so good. They have some great comfort food specials... Turkey, meatloaf, shepherd's pie, I highly recommend chucking this place out. It's in a very cute little town also. We will definitely be back.

This is a hidden gem in Genesee Depot, Wi. They have a wide variety of choices for regular dining and foe vegetarian. Soups, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went for lunch, 4 adults and 1 child. Very accommodating. Tried the French onion soup, very good. Chicken Walnut Croissant was amazing. Apple Cranberry Salad with Chicken, excellent with homemade Maple Cream Dressing. Roasted Vegetable Farro Salad as a Vegiterian choice was tasty. Grilled Portabella Mushroom Melt was also very good. They have a very wide range of menu choices and the meals are always perfectly prepared. Service is fabulous. Take a ride in the country to Cornerstone Restaurant on Hwy 83, Genesee Depot.

We always like to stop for breakfast at a local restaurant or diner on our way home from dog shows. Today it was the Cornerstone in Genesee Depot and it did not disappoint. The mushroom, spinach, provolone, omlet was delicious as was the pancake, The hash browns were just a bit too crispy for my granddaughter but, were exactly the way I like them. Staff was friendly and our waitress was perfect.

Common roll waa outstanding. The frosting was not as sweet as it appears. I not a big sweet fan. You will not be disappointed if you order. It looked like it was home made. Very fluffy with many layers.

I love everything that I order here! I always get their flourless chocolate cake and devour it in a beat. The staff are also always friendly. My mom from Illinois always goes here whenever she’s in town she can't get enough of your food, especially the beef stroganoff.

I’ve had the pot roast, stroganoff, & the beef roast. All very good. If you’re looking for an authentic home cooked meal vibe this is the only place to eat! I keep going back. Always have plenty of leftovers too!

We stopped on a whim, we love independently own places and we're so glad we did!! I had the cornerstone burger and homemade chips, cooked to order, nothing fancy and so fricking good!! My husband had the pot roast and it was so delicious!! I grabbed a couple of cookies to go, the oatmeal raisin was so fresh and soft!! We will definitely be back next time we ate out that way!!
