Food was amazing. Rueda was awesome. My pickey kid ordered potato skins and house salad and slammed them. Wife got the patty melt.... biggest patty melt I've ever seen. 10 of 10 for food service and hole in the wall Wisconsin bars... will return many times.

Came here for the famous Reuben, and I was not disappointed! The meat was so tender it nearly slid out of the sandwich, and every bite down to the warm toasted marble rye was as good as the last!

Great little bar always a great time. Never had a bad meal there and service is always good. The place just puts you in a good mood.
Food is great and portions are huge. 4 of us dine in and the bill was $83 plus tip. Highly recommend. Warm German salad and Potato pancakes are the hit of Herner’s. Friday fish fry was very tasty. That place is right on IL-WI state line. 22 oz beer for $6.25. Must go place!Vegetarian options: You can substitute burger patties with portabella mashrums
