We had the German poutine which was actually very good and fresh - not sure if it’s worth the $18 price though. The beer cheese is great! Burgers are smash burger style and very good. Service was fast and friendly, the place wasn’t super busy or loud which was nice. Great addition to the neighborhood

We had a wonderful meal - two variants on smashburger (as good as we've ever had anywhere) accompanied by wonderful onion rings and pickle fries. The service, provided by Chloe, was attentive, friendly, expert, and quick. Bixenberg Tavern lives up to its well-deserved reputation - two thumbs way up.
