For our crew it's always a toss up for what's better...the sausages or the pizza. Both are absolutely fantastic, pizza may edge it for me with the homemade dough, sauce and tasty toppings. Always incredibly warm and friendly service as well!

Feels like a Hofbrau house in Bavaria got married to an authentic Italian Pizzeria Ristorante. Best of both worlds!

Has a lengthy selection of beers on tap…all very interesting. Something for everyone. I did a tasting flight and the Plum Cobbler beer was my favorite. The Gitche Gumee Farmhouse Ale is one of the (many) home brews here.

The pizzas are absolutely fantastic. So many flavor combinations to choose from that we will be back just to try more of them.

Pack your patience with you…it’s busy, steady stream of people…but doesn’t feel crowded or stressed. The owner works the register/hostess stand and even intros himself with a handshake!

I came in for supper on Friday, August 8th with my girlfriend and had a wonderful experience at Old Germantown Restaurant. I really liked the convenience of their QR code ordering system; it’s a wonderful modern, European-style approach that ensures your order is accurate, gets processed quickly, and you don’t have to wait for a server to bring the bill. You also don't have to wait at the host station to get seated, which is excellent. I wish more US restaurants would adopt this approach.

We ordered two pizzas, a flight of beers, and a root beer float. Everything came out incredibly fast — the drinks were delivered almost instantly — and you can tell the staff works hard to keep things running smoothly. I especially enjoyed the thinner crust and unique pizza options, as well as the great selection of microbrew beers.

It was also a nice touch that the owner stopped by our table to check in. Overall, it’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere. My only suggestion for improvement would be to pave the parking lot and driveway, as the current unpaved surface gets vehicles dusty and could be rather messy during heavy rain.

Hand tossed wood fire pizza was GOOD, really good. Burger was ok. Fries are really good.

Cool place, looks like a regular house property from road. No sign that we could find announcing it. That's what the one pic looking back was for.

Would recommend and go again. Bit pricey but food was good.
