Great local place for creative real food. The beer list though is disappointing. Too much creativity in the beer that competes with the flavors of the food. A simple PBR or plain pilsner would be greatly appreciated.

Very disappointed. I booked a reservation in advance for my birthday dinner. They seated us at the smallest table in the corner facing a wall. The manager was unwilling to provide any other solution even though there were other 2 top tables available- and bar seats. They would rather have us leave than help us feel comfortable. I’ve never been treated so poorly at any restaurant in my life.

Word can’t describe what amazing place this is, from menu, to food, to employment, to ownership to all should get a 5 star plus. The minute you walk through to door you feel so welcome. I was there with a group of 8 and everyone had nothing but amazing things to say. Keep being amazing!

Went to dinner with friends. Very unusual and different menu offerings. The food was outstanding and the service was great! Definitely would recommend!! Try the bacon wrapped watermelon rinds! So Yummy!

We really wanted to love this place based on all the reviews! We ordered crab cakes, the steak, and the lost boys pizza.

The crab cakes genuinely had a lot of crab and the flavor was good! It was definitely on the mushy/soggy side but we still enjoyed them. The steak was well cooked and the potatoes that came with were a great pairing. The sauce it came with was extremeelyyyyy salty. We usually like salty, but it really over powered the dish. It would have been a great dish otherwise. Lastly the pizza, while it sounded great, we suspected that the dough was raw in the middle. Most of the toppings were just sliding right off. We ended up taking it home and airfrying it a bit more but upon looking at it after it’s sat in the fridge it definitely was raw. Rather disappointing for what seems like a nice restaurant.

This is not our first time here but when my wife and I were thinking of a place to eat after our elopement today, to celebrate our marriage, we thought of the precinct. The amount of bold flavors and exquisite food was amazing. Beyond the astounding food that we received the absolute excellent service adds that cherry on top. It's always a full round experience when going to the precinct, not just your everyday dining. Since our first visit here they have really redefined what it means for us to go out to eat. The food is elevated with complex flavor profiles and a revolving specials menu that never ceases to amaze. I can't commend the staff enough for the obvious, caring attention they give to their dishes and to their customers alike. This will always be a favorite and we look forward to many more visits in the future. If it's your first time stopping in, don't forget to try the creme brulee or dessert!

Absolutely amazing first experience. My wife and I had an early dinner there. We had the crab cakes and calamari ( today's daily appetizer special) as appetizer. Absolutely incredible. Great sauces and flavor combinations. Layers of flavor. We ordered the ribeye and the crusted flounder ( another special). The ribeye was juicy, depths of flavor, tender. Topped with sautéed mushrooms and haystack onions. Cooked to perfection. And the au jus was spectacular and tied everything together so well. Au gratin potatoes were a perfect pairing. Even the carrots made you say "wow". The flounder was light and had great flavors. Homemade honey Dijon tartar was a perfect match for the flounder. Oddly enough, the cucumber and tomato salad that topped the fish really tied it all together and made for one amazing bite. Even though we were stuffed, we left just enough room to have dessert.. As someone who is not a dessert fan, their homemade peach cobbler pastry with homemade cinnamon ice cream ( another special) was fantastic. Katie, our server was extremely kind and attentive and her input on dishes was very much appreciated. The fact that the servers get to try daily specials, you can watch the chefs prepare the meal if you sit at the "bar" by the kitchen, and the laughter coming from the kitchen, really iced the cake! Amazing

Creative fusion menu. Bao bun, pickled watermelon rind wrapped in bacon, salmon with blackberries and chimichurri sauce, so much more. I loved the poached pear salad.

Overall, a great place! It was my first time visiting the Midwest and I loved the atmosphere of this place. The people were welcoming, server was kind, and food was delicious! We got the Crab Cakes and Pizza-the-Hutt. I thought the crab cakes tasted good but the exterior was a bit mushy. I loved the pizza! I really enjoyed the arugula on top with the mix of the heavier flavors below. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but I’d say it’s worth it. Overall, good place!

Went there today for a birthday celebration, the cocktail was amazing, the appetizers came out looking amazing and tasted every bit as good as they looked, for my main entree I had the walleye which was very nicely done with a perfect texture. And for desert the rhubarb coconut cheesecake.
All I have to say is I can’t wait until the next time I dine there.
The flavors are very interesting and the color palettes of every dish were truly enjoyable and equally captivating.

Amazing all around. Waitress was great, the burger was fabulous, and the snickers cheesecake was the best I've ever had. I live out of state but next time I visit Milwaukee, I'll for sure go back!

Excellent farm to table menu. The flavors are amazing! Special bonus the presentation and atmosphere. I took my dessert to go and it was still pretty.
